Las Puertas de San Pedro is a private estate with coffee, cocoa, and more crops, located in the beautiful Tetuán 3 neighborhood, near Jayuya, a place full of breathtaking landscapes and views. Just a few minutes away, you will find the Globo Aerostático de Jayuya y sus Ziplines (Aerostaic's Jayuya Balloon and Ziplines), as well as rivers, restaurants, and other tourist attractions. Enjoy nature, wildlife, and crops by taking a stroll through the entire estate (at your own risk).

Large mountain campsite with panoramic views, ideal for car camping, van camping, and tent camping on private land. Los Pinos Camping Site is a spacious open campsite (approximately ½ to 1 acre) located at La Finca Las Puertas de San Pedro, a remote coffee farm in the central mountains of Puerto Rico. This site is designed for campers looking for a simple, affordable, and peaceful outdoor experience with plenty of space between groups. Unlike crowded campgrounds, this is a wide, open camping area where guests can enjoy fresh mountain air, long‑distance views, and a quiet rural setting. Ideal for car campers, small vans, and tent campers who value nature over amenities. 🌄 Site Features Large open camping area (½–1 acre) Panoramic mountain and forest views Mostly flat grassy field Cool mountain climate year‑round Excellent birdwatching, including endemic Puerto Rican species Peaceful mornings and natural sounds Night temperatures usually range from 65°F to 85°F, dropping into the high 50s during winter. 🚗 Camping & Access Guests park directly at the site Accessible with 2WD vehicles Suitable for cars, small vans, and basic camper setups No hookups – true off‑grid camping 🚿 Amenities Toilet Cold‑water shower Pets welcome Campfires allowed (weather permitting) Please note: No potable water, no picnic table, and no garbage service (pack in / pack out). 📍 Location & Environment Located in a remote mountainous area. Private overland summit located at 2,640 feet above sea level on Finca Las Puertas de San Pedro, a working, chemical‑free coffee farm in the mountains of Utuado/Jayuya. This elevated site offers open skies, steady mountain breezes, and incredible panoramic views in every direction. Ideal for travelers seeking space, calm, and a deep connection with nature—perfect for slow mornings, quiet sunsets, and unplugging from everything else. The site is a wide, flat open area at the very top of the mountain, with 360‑degree views and a strong sense of openness and privacy. There are no structures in front of you—just landscape, light, wind, and the scale of Puerto Rico’s central mountains all around. This is a self‑contained overland site. Guests must arrive fully equipped. There is no bathroom, no running water, and no electricity available on site. The area is an exposed mountain summit with open edges and no guardrails. Guests should move carefully when arriving, departing, or walking around, especially at night. Headlamps or lanterns are strongly recommended. While the site is private and visually separate, occasional voices or activity from nearby areas may be heard under very quiet conditions or favorable wind. Guests seeking complete sound isolation may find this environment less suitable. Access is via rural mountain roads—narrow, winding, and without street lighting. Daylight arrival is strongly recommended, as night driving can be more challenging due to fog, rain, wind, or limited visibility. Guests have exclusive access to the designated overland summit site. With prior coordination, they may explore other areas of the farm, such as coffee plantations and walking paths, at their own discretion and personal responsibility. These areas are part of an active farm and are not exclusive. Nature is part of the experience. Insects, wildlife, wind, rural sounds, and changing weather conditions may be present. This site is best suited for experienced, self‑reliant travelers comfortable in remote mountain environments.

A Mountain Overland Summit
We loved this campsite so much. The views are absolutely gorgeous and had no trouble getting there with a 2wd low clearance car. Hosts are incredible nice and gave us an impromptu tour of their beautiful and impressive coffee farm.

This is a beautiful place in Utuado, Puerto Rico. The view from this mountain top is extraordinary. From the middle of the island, you can see all the coastline it’s a beautiful site. The temperature in the morning was 62° and that is wonderful. This was for the area of the camping.

The tent site was beautiful, and the host friendly and helpful with good directions. Be aware that this spot is high and exposed to nearby houses and roads where people sometimes drive play music as loudly as possible when they are partying, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

Since the beginning it was magical. Jesus and Madelyn welcomed us and gave us a full tour of their coffee plantations and other camping areas. Later, Jesus followed us toward our campsite to ensure that we would arrived well. He even gave us another site to choose since our’s was muddy. Additionally, they were very responsive to our messages, they even texted us a couple of times during our stay to ensure we were fine. We forgot dish soap and they helped us. Something we will always be very grateful for. From the beginning of the campsite, everything was amazing. The views were stunning. Not many campsites have these views. This one is a winner. Lots of spacious terrain and amazing views. And it was cold which was perfect. Lots of stars to see. This has been the best campsite Ive ever been too. Not many campsites are this perfect… Trust me.

Excelente espacio para acampar. Super privado, vista increíble. Por la noche baja la temperatura como en casi todo el centro de PR y se disfruta mucho tambien. Jesus super atento estuve pendiente a que no nos hiciera falta nada. Regresamos pronto !

Nos encanto quedarnos en la finca. Un lugar sereno y de paz. Jesus y Madeline fueron demasiado de atentos con nosotros desde la llegada, el tour de la finca y la despedida. Muchas gracias!

Despedimos un año 2021 y recibimos el 2022 mi novio, mis 2 hij@s y yo en la Finca Las Puertas de San Pedro, un experiencia espectacular no hay palabras para describir este lugar tan hermoso, con un paisaje maravilloso de día y de noche. Puedes apreciar parte de la costa norte, el lugar esta bien cuidado y la atención muy buena de parte de sus dueño. Recomendado 100%

Súper súper encantado... Jesus y su esposa fueron muy amables, muy atentos desde que me comuniqué con el hasta que me acomode en el spot. Pasamos una experiencia única, la neblina nos tenia abrazado y estaba bn fresco allá arriba. Todo fue bonito a favor del clima en Las Puertas de San Pedro yo vuelvo a visitarlos y lo recomiendo al 100 ✨

Jesús y Madelyn fueron muy amables y atentos, incluso nos buscaron cuando nos perdimos al llegar. El spot ofrece una experiencia única para disfrutar la naturaleza desde la altura y asimismo cuenta con facilidades más que cómodas para aseo personal. They also share an exquisite knowledge about surrounding plantlife, which anyone would enjoy hearing about. I’d be delighted to visit again.
