The property has been in the Monge family since the late 1940's bought by Jose Monge Marquez. The campsite is located in a private property in the outskirts of El Yunque Rainforest in the town of Luquillo. The campsite areas and facilities are about 6 out of 43 acres of all the private property of rainforest, flowers, palm trees, and various fruit trees.
The Sabana River, one of many that originate from El Yunque National Rainforest, the river goes through the property. All the campsites are close by the river with each having their own access and individual fire pits.
The local attractions are:
-El Yunque National Rainforest 15 minute drive up the mountain.
-Las Paylas rockslides (2 minute drive & 8 minutes walking).

This is not a hotel or boutique hotel — it’s my personal home and guesthouse, created with care to offer budget-friendly, outdoor living accommodation in a real Puerto Rican neighborhood. There are three units on the property:
• The Casita, located in the back and completely private sleeps 3

I live on-site for about six months of the year and work in the States the other half to keep this Puerto Rico dream alive. I’ve built this space slowly, with creativity and love — and I’m happy to share it with those who appreciate its energy.
🌿 A Few Quick Notes
We provide a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay — but don’t offer upscale hotel amenities like single-use plastic shampoos or conditioners. Instead, we provide an all-natural Castile soap in hand pumps that can be used for the whole body.
Also, roosters are part of daily life in Puerto Rican neighborhoods. You may hear them at unexpected hours — it’s part of the local soundscape. There are no roosters next door, but a neighbor up the hill has a few.

Nos encantó este sitio, fue un lugar para desconectar. Jesus y Madelyn estuvieron pendientes en todo momento y dieron un servicio al 100%. Not just a Campsite but & mini-fortress of isolation & tranquility. Perfectly flat/grass/soft spot for tents & a complete(power/hot shower/regular bathroom/kitchen/fridge- Casita str8 outta a Bad Bunny video. A Perfect pool to soak in while viewing the ocean or watch the daily rainshower bless you rolling off the Mighty El Yunque. As mentioned in a previous review about the drive into this location; as with ANY place in the mountains of PR- it's an INSANE drive whipping through steep inclines and blind curves & narrow roads to get here- there are 2!! Critical turns you must make- one to get into the Tomas Berrios Barrio that this huge property is heritage-bound too(neighbors are all relatives/land owners) & the tight turn into the Jubilee itself. Once you're in here you will encounter one of the steepest paved driveways I've seen on the island. It's a very short hump and completely paved until the area actually going to your campsite or casita. Keep that thing in 1st gear n keep the rpms at 1-2k- you will be absolutely fine. A 2wd can easily!- (it's actually fun once you know what to expect)make it but if you're actually camping & driving all over the island- the only option is a awd/4x4 vehicle anyways.. there will be another 2 homes within the property- trust the Googlemaps- it will get u exactly to the rear of the mainhouse - there are signs also. litteral mountains n areas completely private at your disposal- Tomas(owner) is amazing! Don't miss out!

This is an absolute must! The site i was on was the absolute best n worst! In only minor ways- one it's on top of the most magical grotto/organic kiddie pool. The constant water lulls you to sleep day or night! You have to cross/hop/splash! Into a 4ft stream to get to your site so guaranteed you're going to get your feet wet often & the site gets alil muddy. Some of the others are more glamp condition but this spot. Probably none better other than the one above it that wasn't available. During the day small numbers of paying visitors go to see intimate & almost unvisited fall vs the big boy just up stream that u can also visit. The visitors will pass right by your tent so if u want privacy this ain't the one. But at 4pm! The entire place is yours! Im definitely coming back & you definitely need to check that block as well.

Las Puertas de San Pedro nos regaló un amanecer hermoso, pese a que estaba nublado. Sus anfitriones, Madelyn y Jesús, se mantuvieron comunicados todo el tiempo con nosotros para asegurarse de que llegáramos bien y la pasáramos chévere. Nos permitieron recorrer la finca y Madelyn fue muy generosa al regalarnos hijitos de algunas de sus plantas medicinales. La vista desde la cima de Las Puertas de San Pedro es preciosa.

THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! Everything about our stay was perfect. The facilities are so well kept and they have so much to offer. We cooked using the grill and ate the fresh fruit we picked. The views of this place are breathtaking. Our host was also so incredibly kind and he gave us great recommendations in the area. Could not have asked for better. Wish we got to stay longer and hope to return one day.

This was such a cool spot and obvious labor of love! The pavilions made of solar panels were a big help to us as our van's batteries were running a bit low, and were also a nice spot to look out on the fantastic view.
Bathrooms and showers were clean and convenient. Don't miss out on visiting the river!

This was a beautiful and private spot to relax for the evening. The shower and restrooms were spacious and well maintained. We appreciated all the counter space and sinks, as well as the cozy gas firepit.
We felt very safe and comfortable here and would absolutely visit again!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! The views were spectacular, and all the lights and seating were great for relaxing outside after a long day.
The bathroom/shower was well spacious and well lit; good hot water and pressure.
We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, but I would have loved to check it out during a show since they have a big stage and kitchen.

Loved camping at Finca Sajorí, we went during the week, so we had the campsite to ourselves. we brought both of our older pets to rest and ground in nature. the view was magical, looking for campfire wood was accessible as we are surrounded by trees. i recommend bringing a saw to cut some long wood. there were oranges and pineapples growing everywhere, we felt safe and the stars and constellations at night were dreamy. We got all seasons in one day, heat, mist, rain, and cool at night. There was access to water, showers, toilet, and grills. Luis and his wife greeted us kindly. we attempted to walk to the river but one of old pups could not make the hike as her legs were weak, so we took our 4x4 down to the river as Luis recommended and that was a fun journey down and up the mountain - only 4x4 please. We will definitely return to this hidden beautiful campground.
