If you're a bird watcher, this is like a natural sanctuary. Song birds sing all through the day, and the doves snore beautifully at night. Cranes, owls, hawks, humming birds, parrots, and many more I'm not familiar with visit all the time. We got farm ducks, and chickens too. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. It's a jungle. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Exciting.

Parking spot is located outside the property so you must be willing to walk downhill to access the area. We only use solar or batteries lights. Outside dining table included. Guest can explore around the premises at his/her own risk. Pets should remain on leash. Please, do not cross to the neighbors yards uninvited. Hiking jewels can be found at 20 minutes drive: Las Tetas between Cayey-Salinas, Canon San Cristobal between Aibonito-Barranquitas, and Bosque Carite, Cayey. Other things to note Property is not fully fenced. Nights can be really colds so bring your jackets. The place uses solar lights, doesn't have electricity, so be prepared to connect with nature. Must bring your own tent, blankets and towels. Guest should bring his own food. Coal available no extra cost. Area can accommodate a few other camping tents for an extra charge. There is a private greenhouse in the property where you can buy exotic plants. Please note that this is a residential area. Noises should be avoided. Pick up your garbage. No a/c, tv, microwave, hot water. Capacity for 4 adults. By kayak you may visit, preferably at new moon night, one of the 20ths world's unique Bioluminiscent Bay. PR has 3 and one of those is just minutes away to experience! You'll get to the shack house by a dirty and bumpy road, 32 steps up stairs, must be in shape! Also you can anchor your boat almost in front of the property (there is no dock for boats there, but you may dock your dingy while visiting Parguera Village, advanced notification has to be made for arrangement.) Birds, lizzards, manatees, starfishes, stingrays, dolphins, brilliant stars night and breathtaking blue skies, don't say about our sunsets and sunrises! Amazing cays are another natural atractions, ask for Mata La Gata sea pool area. Water in front of the house isn't suitable for swimming if you are not related to waters surrounded by mangroves but you may visit Parguera sea sighting by your boat, by in site boat rental at Parguera, parasailing, diving and many other tours... By car there are plenty of different kind of beaches at nearby towns. There are safe trails to explore. You may search for Parguera, PR, to take a glance of what you are missing! Puerto Rico, as a whole is 100 x 35 square miles, is a tropical island with a variety of unimaginable places so get ready for adventure! USA citizens don't need passport, a valid real id is all you need! What are you waiting for?

Very peaceful place. I personally enjoy nature and the lake is stunning. Next time I can't forget my fishing gear! You see big fishes close to shore. At night they have solar lights that helps a lot. The running water is only in the bathrooms which are very well kept. A place to get ice and supplies is a 2 min drive. Highly recommend!

Its easy to drive to the property. Near by there is a gas station you can purchase ice and other supplies. They also have a food truck near the gas station. There is a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. Bathrooms are clean. There is running water in the main gazebo that you can wash dishes. I love the place. Is my second time here and I plan to come again.

Tomas was great! The place was great! We stayed in his private camping area with an amazing view. We had a rainy first day but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the site. Tomas made sure we had everything we needed. Even though we were tent camping, it was nice having a working shower, toilet, and sink near by. The pool is in just a great location to enjoy such a breath taking view. His art is very custom and overall just a great vibe. He has a little slice of heaven here.

Awesome secluded location! Yet you're not to far from good food and tons of adventure nearby. Robert and his wife were super nice and accommodating. If your schedule allows it opt for the breakfast on the balcony! During our stay we did stuff all over the island this place is fairly centrally located. Which was perfect for our trip.

We spent an unforgettable night at Jubilee Campsite. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. What truly made our stay special was the attention Tomás gave to my children during the art class. He was kind, patient, and made them feel valued from the very beginning. He guided them with care, encouraged their creativity, and turned the activity into something magical. Watching them so happy and engaged was the highlight of our trip. You can clearly see that Tomás loves what he does, and his passion shines through in every detail. The campsite is well maintained, the pool is amazing, and the views are breathtaking. It is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy meaningful time as a family. We are definitely coming back. Thank you for everything.

This is a beautiful location and perfect camp spot to explore the island, close to Esperanza and Isabella. Have transportation lined up, either a local with good knowledge of the roads, or renting. Taxis are hit or miss. The casita has everything you need, as long as you’re prepared and don’t expect an Airbnb. Bring a headlamp as you’ll probably be walking a bit, don’t mind the rooster, he’s a good neighbor. Enjoy the island life!

Weekend Trip to Courage Creek Camp and Trails

Robert accommodated us perfectly. we had access to a full size tent that was under a lean-to, hose water, chairs and a propane stove. It was a fantastic stay in the foliage. We were comfortable and were able to stay dry and under shade if needed. Robert was very friendly and helpful and gave us information on places to explore. Great, great time for our group of 5. would definitely recommended and stay again. Ps. His wife's snacks are DELICIOUS and would recommend supporting her local business!!

Weekend Trip to Rainforest Campground & Glamping

We chose this campsite for our daughter’s 11th birthday. We had a great glamping experience with absolutely stunning views! It was truly a peaceful and scenic escape. The hike to the stream was beautiful but definitely challenging due to recent rain; the trail was muddy and SUPER slippery, so come prepared with proper footwear. The campsites are near a little drop off, so it’s best to only take big kids. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and provided detailed information that made our stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, a memorable adventure that we will cherish forever!
