Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill.
We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more.

- Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we ask that you do not transport wood onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum. Contact for pricing options.**

Everything that we sell is grown or produced on-site with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us.
While at the farm, besides the amenities listed in each listing, you are welcome to hike or walk around and explore our farm which has many acres of woodland, creeks, springs, a pond, and open fields. A hot day is a great time for a walk along - or in - the creek. A rainy day brings out the Red Efts - beautiful orange newts that are all over the woods when you know where to look. We're always glad to point you in the right direction for a nice walk or a longer hike. You may be able to tag along collecting eggs from the hens or feeding some of the other animals we may have.

Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life.
The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land.
There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.

The Cabin with No Name exceeded every expectation we had. The awesome book selection, incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing shower, the vast land of trails behind it all paired with quirky/cozy decor are only a few of the warm takeways from this experience. Kat swiftly responded to us and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed it here so much we decided to extend our trip in the middle of it. It's obvious the care, attention and love that was put into this place. It truly felt like our home away from home. Would absolutely return here.

We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a fantastic time at Kat’s place for the weekend. It was perfect for our getaway. There’s easy direct access to a beautiful wooded area with a number of falls of different sizes. The cabin is well decorated and I appreciated all the games, including games for kids. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Booked the cabin for a family birthday trip and everything was lovely! Our plan was to just hang out for a couple days and the cabin was the perfect place for that. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/etc so we could cook while we were there pretty easily. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable (4 adults and 3 dogs!). We brought a bunch of board games and such but there was also a good collection on the bookshelf. Everything was clean and the cabin is obviously well cared for. Excellent puzzle tables and a fun record collection!

We had a great time here! We felt like we were at summer camp. Kristin was a fantastic host and so were all the farm animals! Beautiful and peaceful property with lots of areas to explore and animals to greet. Bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have a hot shower after hikes. The grate over the fire pit was especially helpful for cooking. Amazing time, would definitely stay again!

While modest from the front, once you get to the back where it opens to State Game land, the magic of the hobbit knook comes alive! With adorable details inside the house and expansive nature behind it, you'll easily forget the neighbors are even there. We even saw wild turkeys and...a BEAR roll through, while scampering away quickly. While the front entrance is under construction, you'll want to be careful going up the stairs, as they are steep and have no railing, but once you're in — it'll feel just like home! Plus, the Almish Farmers Market truly 4 minutes away is such a treat!!

Our stay was fantastic, just like last time!
We thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting us in getting eggs and scallions so we could cook. She was very friendly and gave us a great tour of the property. We'll definitely be back - thank you for everything!
