Located just outside of Parker, PA and 25 minutes from I-80, our campsite is very accessible, yet still very remote. With 4 campsites on 75 acres, guests have ample privacy and space, with the freedom to roam this posted property that has no homes on it. Perched high above the Allegheny there are several spots to take in the wonderful views. There is also a waterfall with a 3’ deep pool below it. Great for splashing with kids or dogs, guests love exploring the creek bottom and making new discoveries. The more curious guests sometimes find the ruins of the original homestead, chimney and spring house that sit upstream. The property is teeming with wildlife. Birds and tree frogs will be the soundtrack of your visit, and often deer will be seen nosing along the outskirts of your site in the mornings and evenings. Turkey, bald eagles and even bear are occasionally spotted, so be prepared to secure your food and trash at night. For those coming to disconnect, you have found the right place. But if cell service is needed, you will have enough to get texts out and depending what site you booked, calls and internet as well. For those who seek an electrical outlet AND and EV charger, we have a site for you! We also have a site with a large canvas tent already set up for your convenience. The Nason Trust is a 4th generation owned outdoor enthusiasts haven tucked away on private land in the outskirts of the Allegheny National Forest. We offer primitive camping along with equestrian primitive camping. We have a dedication to preserving natural habitat, as well as the cooperative efforts of people with diverse interests in the outdoors to provide a positive recreational experience for all of our visitors. The Nason Trust is located by a significant amount of trail systems that traverses gorgeous, rocky, stream-filled trails that pass by remnants of Kellettville's boomtown. While guests get to enjoy the geology, elevation changes, with dramatic views while enjoying their favorite outdoor activities. Campers will have access to the North Country National Scenic Trail that is the longest in the national trail system it spans across 8 states from North Dakota to Vermont covering 4,800 miles. Minister Creek Trail is a short drive away. It's a moderately challenging hike that passes several outstanding rock outcroppings. After your hike you can drop by frog rock the local's favorite swimming hole that's along the same short drive back from Minister Creek trail back to the Nason Trust. Tionesta Creek and Salmon Creek are well stocked to lure in any avid fishermen. Along with another local gem; Ross Run's Habitat Improvement area it's a half mile set aside for Children 15 and under and people with Special needs giving them their very own special stocked fishing area.

Hipcamp hosts since 2017 on a 99 acre farm, we are located approximately 2 hours south from either Erie, PA or Buffalo, NY, 3 hours north of Pittsburgh, PA and just west of Potter County, PA. We offer 2 camping experiences on the farm - Open Pasture Campsite (May 1st - October 31st) AND Boondocking RV Camping (year-round, but dependent on weather and availability). Please chose the camping experience/site that will suit you and your groups needs. We are close to the Kinzua Bridge Skywalk with breathtaking views and beautiful year-round hiking, the Kinzua Dam for boating and water activities abundant outdoor activities at the nearby Allegheny National Forest will insure that you will have plenty to do during your stay! We are 30 minutes from Bradford, PA, home of the Zippo/Case Museum and Flag Ship Store and Penn-Brad Oil Museum. Lumber Museum, Rock City Park & Jakes's Rocks/Allegany National Forest are all a short drive. The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is nearby for day trip for additional hiking and other outdoor activities along with wondrous views and activities. We are a recognized 501(c)(3) equine rescue and all fees go directly to the daily care of rescued equines and related activities as well as community outreach and education.

We are located in beautiful Clearfield county Pennysalvina. Our farm is on over 150 acres. It’s has been in the family for generations. It has beautiful farm views with wooded areas. There is lots of wildlife to see. Including bear, bobcat, deer, eagles, fishers, and many other species. We have lots of hiking trails and our property also boarders state game lands. It’s a short drive to the Susquehanna River and other parks. You can also enjoy the cows, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and turkeys at the farm. Contact the host and set up a time to visit and feed the animals. Learn more about our family farm and the animals. We also have a sawmill and wood shop. Nearby is Bilgers Rocks, Rock Run Atv Park, Prince Gallitzin State Park, the Susquehanna River, and many other fantastic outdoor activities. It’s a place to unwind and relax. And connect with nature. This is in a very rural part of Pennsylvania and camping in the winter weather can be difficult. So please prepare yourself with additional sleeping bags for winter. The tent is heated but because of the unpredictable and sometimes dangerous weather you need to be prepared. The bathroom is also outdoors so there will not be a shower provided till after the freezing weather. And the loo is not heated. It is also recommended that you have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive to get to the campsite in the winter. It is possible to walk from road to site. But you should consider this when booking. RTR is a very beautiful place in the winter but it can also be dangerous if you’re not prepared.

Gordon Glen Woods is nestled in the picturesque Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania and is an eight-acre wooded land adjacent to 8,200 acres of state game land and is 1.5 miles from two trailheads of the Ghost Town Trail, Pennsylvania’s trail of the year 2020. Rebecca and her family were magnificent hosts for our family. They were so kind, and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The tent itself was so cozy and the bathroom very clean. We enjoyed making s’mores atvthe campfire and gazing at the beautiful starry sky. We even got to meet the farm animals before we left. It was a great to have our own private space and we highly recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful location. The views were amazing. The hosts were super accommodating and kind. They were on site when we visited, and they offered to give my nieces and nephews a ride in their buggy. They had a blast. Kids and dogs loved trekking through the creek and exploring the waterfall. The open field was great for us to play all sorts of games. Played capture the flag at night. All in all a great time.

Ridge Top Retreat is, by far, the most unique and well-done Hipcamps I’ve visited. The interior of the tent is beautifully decorated and the propane furnace kept it toasty warm on a cool fall evening. The “outhouse” has a portable toilet and a hot shower with an instant water heater powered by solar panels. The host provided plenty of firewood and even started a fire for us! With no ambient light, the stars and Milky Way were beautiful! The setting is gorgeous, set on a high spot with an incredible view across the hayfield to a beautiful country church and cemetery. I highly recommend this very special place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10) This was my first Hipcamp trip and it couldn’t have been better. The property was peaceful, beautiful, and gave me everything I wanted out of a true camping experience — wildlife, wide open sky, and the kind of quiet you just can’t find at home. Even with storms rolling in overnight, it felt raw and real in the best way.

Weekend Trip to Triple Dream Farm

Marie’s land was nothing short of beautiful. The campsite was clean and cozy, with both useful and fun supplies to make us feel welcomed. The cleaned porta-potty was very much appreciated. The sink and shower with hot water was a rare find for my group and I, but a game changer! We included the farm tour with Marie during our stay, where we learned about the farm’s upcoming, fed the animals, and collected some eggs for our breakfast. The town was sadly experiencing a drought, so our plans to tube down the river turned into floating around the farm’s pond- I think that turned out to be my favorite part! The incredible stargazing (and shooting stars) also deserve some attention. As a heads up, our group didn’t get any service out at the site (though the towns just a short drive away). I highly recommend Marie’s land to anyone looking for a secluded yet entertaining camping trip. We would love to come back!
