Camp is on 50 acres with a pink marked trail to Red Bank Creek on the western border and back up through a hemlock forest along south border. A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. All camp sites are on the eastern border and close to the main road to access property. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest, watch nature's critters, read or just relax in a hammock. No hunting on property but fishing permitted along "river" aka Red Bank Creek. Please keep fires in firepit and noise levels low. Set up to be most natural, minimal mowing, and sites meant to be more private. We let you know if you have others on property. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt. It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. This is a really nice quiet place to relax and unplug. The owner and his family were very helpful and there’s plenty of amenities available while still feeling rather off grid. Perfect way to break up a long road trip. Real easy checking in and out, the cabin experience super convenient, clean and comfortable. So much better than a hotel! I cannot say enough good things about Cozy Embers Campground & Cabins! We stayed here recently and were blown away by how much care the owners and staff put into the place. It is so clean, the sites are spacious, and it is the perfect launchpad for hiking the Allegheny National Forest. The new upgrades and amenities make it so comfortable and it's so close to the reservoir. Such a gem in Bradford, PA. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Cozy Embers was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy and surrounded by beautiful woods, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Jessica and Scott were exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They checked in with us every day to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bathrooms were clean & well-maintained. It was clear that they take great pride in keeping the property in excellent condition. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. We loved this adorable cabin on the hillside especially with the riverfront and the proximity to the ANF. We made it to Jakes Rocks for cycling, Minister Creek for hiking, and also Hector Falls for a short hike. There’s no cell service, which was a great way to unwind. The little cabin has everything you need, feels very homey and locals are super friendly. Make sure to stop at the Blue Jay Inn for food.

We loved our trip! It was a perfect weekend get away for our family. We walked in the river, swam, went fishing, and just relaxed. We came with our 9 year old and 1 year old, they both had a great time! The site has a nice covered pavilion with a gas grill, fire pit with a swing near by. The kitchen has a two burner stove, toaster over, fridge, keurig coffee maker, and sink. Hot water, AC, and dvd player and a ton of DVDs which was nice when the storm rolled in. We definitely plan to come back for more outdoor adventures

Weekend Trip to Neal Homestead Camp Sites

This was the perfect little space to get away from life in the winter. The little propane heater was enough to warm up the space in the middle of the night and early morning. I didn't have the right gear to hike in the snow but I will be back to try out the trails in the spring! There was plenty of fire wood and a solo stove which we didn't really use but I appreciate that it was available. Also the hosts were very friendly and offered extra lights and things to make my stay more cozy. I will most definitely be back with better gear ❤️ Thank you again for making this quiet space available for people to get away from the busy world!

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend.
