We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

Come experience a stay at our Forest Sanctuary, tucked away on the edge of the lush Danby State Forest. A perfect location to stay while exploring the Finger Lakes or simply getting away from the everyday hustle. Our beautiful 5-acre Sanctuary is surrounded by deep forest, small meadows, hiking trails, and abundant wildlife. Walk the land with appreciation, listen to nature speak, and let the owls calling in the quiet of the night lull you into rest. We are conveniently located just 15 minutes south of Downtown Ithaca, and only 5 minutes from Danby Food and Drink (local eatery and store). Explore many accessible hiking trails and endless woods, including a short walk to The Finger Lakes Trail. Everything at the Sanctuary was hand-built by your host, who lives in a separate dwelling nearby. Our "Tiny Home"/"Cabin" can be described as both rustic and luxurious. It stands alone (not attached to any other structures) and is private. It is a fully finished, one-room studio with beautiful, unique woodwork. There is a cozy, 'treehouse-like' lofted full-sized bed, and a couch below that can open into a bed. There are lots of big windows to let in natural light, fresh air, and beautiful forest views. This cabin has electricity and Wi-Fi included, as well as access to potable well water close by (as long as temperatures are above freezing). This tiny home has NO indoor plumbing. This tiny home has no shower facilities at this time (outdoor shower is pending). There is a private outhouse for your use, a separate structure close by with a composting toilet (basically a bucket with a sawdust system). If this is something that may make you uncomfortable, this space may not be a good fit for you.

We had a fantastic stay! It was great to be right next to the river while cooking and hanging out around the firepit. We also loved the fresh, delicious treats from the farmstand. Very close to the state park, which has some phenom waterfalls! Excellent site for tent camping. Will be back!!

I spent two nights camping with friends and family on a disc golf course. How could it not be excellent? The owners are friendly and attentive and the course is well lyed out with some custom made bonus baskets. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to camp. Susan is the best host. Really takes care of the land, maintains the campsites, and makes sure you have everything you need. This site in particular was tucked back in the woods just enough to feel secluded, but you still had an awesome view out over the open field / hill.

Went to Catherine and John’s property middle of October and had a great camp. Catherine greeted us and made sure we were all set. Threw a couple of fun rounds with friends, cooked some nice food, and had an overall great experience. Will be back soon to check out some fishing on the Susquehanna. Cool camping spot.

Deb and Jim were great hosts showing us around the property at check-in and assuring us they’d be available if we needed anything during our stay. This site was perfect for a coworker camping trip of 11 people and multiple vehicles. Private, spacious, by a river, fire pits, picnic tables, an outhouse (TP supplied) , tree for hammocks, and room to explore. Couldn’t have asked for anything better and everyone wished we could’ve stayed longer than 1 night.

1 night at Rune Hill Sanctuary

I brought a backpack with everything I needed, set up camp, first on the hill (awakening to a vibrant sunrise view) and then into the forest by a stream. I spent 3 nights and never left the property. I wandered through old forest with giant white pines and soft needles underneath. I followed a winding stream up into the hills, and even found a small secluded pool of icy water under one of the many small waterfalls. (I couldn’t resist a bracingly cold .immersion.) I got lost in the woods and was thrilled to see my first porcupine scritching its way up a tree! It was a spiritual experience sitting cross legged on the wooded hill and breathing in the peacefulness, listening to the gentle rustle of the leaves. I was craving healing solitude and I feel so grateful to have found it here. Thank you Joseph for sharing your land. I hope that others find their way there and experience their own peace.

Camping at CSDG for the second time, and it was just as great as the first. We had the chance to play a round with Cathy, John, and Dave, and we had such a fun time that we played an additional 8 on the older course with the makeshift baskets—definitely awesome!! You can tell Cathy and John love what they do, and they radiate nothing but warmth and kindness. Communication was great, bathroom was clean, and the camp site was private and stocked with wood. Can’t wait to come back in the spring!

Our group had a great time at Fairie Tale Farms - Moondance Retreat and would highly recommend! Susan was very welcoming, showing us to our campsite and checking on us during our stay. We enjoyed walking around the property checking out the lake and watching the horses. During our stay we did a casual hike at Ricketts Glen State park and checked out a community fair.

Susan's land was beautiful, remote, yet a short drive from great hikes at Ricketts Glen State Park. Most of the camp sites are far enough away from other campers and was a true primitive experience. Susan was incredibly helpful with anything we needed or had questions about.
