The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds.

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby.

35-acre bucolic farm with goats, sheep, chickens and geese. Sites are near our one acre pond and each site has a fire pit. Our farm borders the 1,000-acre Hibernia Park with its historic mansion, extensive woodlands, hiking trails and along the beautiful Brandywine river. Lots of wooded areas, trails, rock outcroppings and beautiful scenery. The entrance to the park is through our farm gate near Site 2 and then down a trail.
There is an indoor powder room with flushing toilet and sink for campers to use and a small camp shop. Wood is available for purchase. We are located
5 minutes from the hospital, 10 minutes from grocery stores, 30 minutes to Amish country and Longwood Gardens. Hopewell Furnace, St. Peter's village, Daniel Boone homestead, Historic Springton Manor, Marsh Creek Park and lake are all nearby.

The camp sites on our farm are dry (for now) but we DO have a toilet that is cleaned regularly right by the sites. We have three leveled gravel RV/Camper spots, which are large compared to most campgrounds. The sites are pull through for most RVs and Trailers. We provide fire rings and campfire wood (assuming we have it available). Our farm is an operational farm with livestock and you will be camping right by our horse pasture. Our location is convenient. We are right off of I-81 and State route 22. Minutes from Hersheypark, Hollywood Casino and Penn National Race Course, The PA Renaissance Faire, as well as Ft. Indiantown Gap and Memorial Lake State Park. If you are a hiker, the Appalachian Trail is minutes from our farm. Our sites are easy access off the main road. We are in a friendly agricultural neighborhood with very little traffic or noise other than the light hum of I-81 in the distance. Wildlife is plentiful in our area and you can hike from our farm to Levitz Community Park (or drive if you prefer) to interact some great nature or have a picnic. We had a wonderful time camping at site 2 at Tom's place. It was so peaceful and beautiful and a short walk away from some great trails at the next door neighboring park. Room was a great host. He spent a while with us to show us around, introduce us to his goats, chickens and geese, and tell us the history of the area and his property. He had a working bathroom, a coffee machine, which was awesome because i forgot my coffee, and we bought a dozen of his farm eggs. After that he gave us our space and privacy but let us know he was available if we needed him. We can't wait to come back.

We had a great weekend camping at Tom's place. Site 2 was private and wooded. We loved interacting with the goats. Tom was an excellent host, and having a real bathroom available was a big plus for my group. You do have to cart your belonging down a hill (and back up when you leave), but sturdy carts are provided, and it maintains the peace and quiet of the camping spots. Would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great time camping here. We arrived in the dark later than anticipated and Tom graciously met us when we arrived and took us to our site. Site 4 is up against the tree line a short walk from where you park next to the house. You aren’t deep in the woods but there is tree cover above you. You’re also set away from other sites, so it feels very private. The site is sort of in a hill, but it has a few spots that were flat enough for our tent. The site has a fire ring, picnic table with tablecloth, a few plastic lawn chairs, and a plastic end table. There are a couple of chicken coops as well as geese, goats, and sheep which were all fun to visit. There’s a small “camp store” (mudroom) attached to the house which is open 24/7 and is only a couple minute walk from the camp site. The bathroom is accessed from the mudroom. There is coffee, s’mores kits, and other camp necessities for sale if you forgot anything. There are carts available to get your gear to your site. There was plenty of deadfall wood around for the weekend,, but Tom brought some split wood straight to our campsite and we had a very nice chat. There is direct access to the Hibernia Park Rim Park Trail from Tom’s property and we had a great hike along it. Overall, we highly recommend this site.

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to camp for my birthday. So happy we decided to stay here! Perfect little spot. We arrived later than expected, around 8PM and Tom, the host, came out to guide us around the area in the dark. He showed us our spot and even some of his Animals. He is a very helpful and friendly Host ! We booked site 1 and loved it. It is slightly less secluded than the other 3 sites that are a little deeper in the woods. But I would rebook this spot again anytime. We really loved the large stone fire pit! There is also a nice trail behind the property along the river that was nice to walk in the mornings. My boyfriend and I brought kayaks with us and spent a day at chambers lake in hibernia park which is right around the corner. Beautiful area and perfect place to get away and relax in the wilderness. Thanks for having us! We definitely will be back!

Ok my favorite thing about this site was Bah the goat, but there was a lot to love. Bah hung out with us for a good long while and was perfect company. She is truly special. It was great to have access to a bathroom (a short walk away), and the carts to move belongings down to the site were clinch. Site 1 is the most “exposed” and the other sites, if occupied, will need to walk past you to set up and go to the restroom. That was fine for us, but good to know for your planning. The proximity to Hibernia State Park was amazingggg. We got to swim in the Brandywine and hike around, enjoy the beautiful weather. Tom has many cute goats, loud but ultimately avoidant geese, and chickens who did stay in their coop but would have been welcome in my tent lol. The firepit was well maintained and some grates were provided. We would definitely come back to this location, especially since it’s so close to Philly.

Our favorite HipCamp site. Tom is great. His farm is lovely. Camping here is the perfect blend of being out in the woods, but with a bathroom you can walk to. The fireplace is so well built. There are shady spots and sunny spots to pitch your tent. A table and bench. Its minimal, which is perfect. Has everything you need.
Hibernia Park is a few minutes away by car or you can walk from his farm. Its a super well cared for park with playgrounds, trails, grills, Etc.

Where to go
Memorial Lake State Park
Explore 230 acres around the southern base of Blue Mountain at Memorial Lake State Park, where campers flock to enjoy fishing for northern pike, largemouth bass, yellow perch, trout, and muskellunge. The 85-acre lake attracts boaters with space for more than 50 moorings and two dock launch ramps. Park amenities include pavilions with picnic tables (rent in advance for privacy), charcoal grills, water fountains, benches, and restrooms. There are no campsites in the park, but private RV and tent campsites are available nearby.
Swatara State Park
Backpack along the Appalachian Trail where it cuts through Swatara State Park. The park’s 3,520 acres boast scenic landscapes with views of Swatara Creek. Hike through wetlands and forests for glimpses of local wildlife or visit park highlights like historic Bordner Cabin or Akrigg Falls, which remains flowing throughout all four seasons. Area campsites are situated in the rolling fields and woodlands close to park entrances. Cabin rentals are also available.
Stoever’s Dam State Park
Fish, hike, and canoe at Stoever’s Dam State Park, another popular Lebanon destination for Hipcampers. Brimming with flora and fauna, the park includes observation decks for birdwatchers as well as a 23.5-acre lake that’s stocked with trout. Other park highlights include the 125-year-old nature barn with special exhibits related to the barn and park’s history and a community theater. Look for RV parks and campsites near the park as well as within. Park amenities include pavilions, boat ramps, and restrooms.
When to go
Winter is off-season for Lebanon, but during mild weather, hikers can still be seen hitting the trails or snowmobiling. Peak camping season is summer, but spring and fall draw campers to Lebanon's outdoor attractions, too. Seasonal festivals and farmer’s markets add to Lebanon’s warm season fun. Campers can find some RV parks and campgrounds that offer year-round accommodations, but many remain open only for the warm season.
