We are Marty and Deborah. Welcome to our 40 hidden acres of paradise where we are surrounded by wildlife and raise much of our food including beef, pork, chickens and a productive garden. We have multiple campsites here from wooded to open field or by the pond so come and pick one that suits you best.
We are adjacent to the Kennerdell Tract Of Clear Creek State Forest which has miles of hiking and biking trails as well as the Allegheny River which provides fishing, boating, kayak/ canoeing opportunities. There is also The Allegheny River Trail which provides miles of paved bike trails.
What we offer: We are not a campground and do not offer multi-night stays
We are vandwellers when we are traveling. As such we understand the problems associated with finding a spot to overnight.
We offer just that, a safe, quiet stop over for the night. That being said, if you need an extra day feel free to ask, we often say yes.

We are located in beautiful Clearfield county Pennysalvina. Our farm is on over 150 acres. It’s has been in the family for generations. It has beautiful farm views with wooded areas. There is lots of wildlife to see. Including bear, bobcat, deer, eagles, fishers, and many other species. We have lots of hiking trails and our property also boarders state game lands. It’s a short drive to the Susquehanna River and other parks. You can also enjoy the cows, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and turkeys at the farm. Contact the host and set up a time to visit and feed the animals. Learn more about our family farm and the animals. We also have a sawmill and wood shop. Nearby is Bilgers Rocks, Rock Run Atv Park, Prince Gallitzin State Park, the Susquehanna River, and many other fantastic outdoor activities. It’s a place to unwind and relax. And connect with nature. This is in a very rural part of Pennsylvania and camping in the winter weather can be difficult. So please prepare yourself with additional sleeping bags for winter. The tent is heated but because of the unpredictable and sometimes dangerous weather you need to be prepared. The bathroom is also outdoors so there will not be a shower provided till after the freezing weather. And the loo is not heated. It is also recommended that you have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive to get to the campsite in the winter. It is possible to walk from road to site. But you should consider this when booking. RTR is a very beautiful place in the winter but it can also be dangerous if you’re not prepared.

Seven Feathers has 6.5 acres with several wildflower and herb gardens, along with a small fruit Orchard! Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh.
Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay.
The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops.
You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby.
Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects. Welcome to Seven Feathers, where you can just relax or partake in the recreational activities. Weekend Trip to Ridge Top Retreat
We had such a nice time camping here! Beautiful spot with everything you can think of at the site. Host does a wonderful job and is available if you have any questions. The heater in the tent does a wonderful job keeping you warm through the night. Great spot to enjoy the nature and some quiet. Thank you for our stay!

3 nights at Ridge Top Retreat
We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Our host showed us around her farm and the site was nice and private. It dropped to 2 degrees during our stay but we were able to stay warm with layers and the propane heater kept up just fine. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Rebecca and her family were magnificent hosts for our family. They were so kind, and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The tent itself was so cozy and the bathroom very clean. We enjoyed making s’mores atvthe campfire and gazing at the beautiful starry sky. We even got to meet the farm animals before we left. It was a great to have our own private space and we highly recommend staying here!

1 night at Ridge Top Retreat
Ridge Top Retreat is, by far, the most unique and well-done Hipcamps I’ve visited. The interior of the tent is beautifully decorated and the propane furnace kept it toasty warm on a cool fall evening. The “outhouse” has a portable toilet and a hot shower with an instant water heater powered by solar panels. The host provided plenty of firewood and even started a fire for us! With no ambient light, the stars and Milky Way were beautiful! The setting is gorgeous, set on a high spot with an incredible view across the hayfield to a beautiful country church and cemetery. I highly recommend this very special place.

It's very peaceful here and enjoy hearing the animals. The adorable goats introducedthemselvis as I was packing up in the morning. -so cute. I love Goats! (Rooster crowed just before my actual alarm clock-LOL). I value privacy and safety and slept well. I slept in my SUV. I have an airmattress and sleeping pad that keeps me comfortable. I plan to be back next time I need to travel to PGH.

Cameron’s land was the breath of fresh air we needed to recharge with nature.
The land was beautiful. Almost ethereal in a way with the change of seasons.
When you first get there, Cameron drives you, your gear and your party on a Gater to the sites — It’s such a fun little ride!! a few hills, twists & turns.
We had messed up and forgot a few things at home. Lucky for us, Cameron was amazing and let us borrow a few things of his to accommodate the things we forgot. He assisted in carrying our bags and made sure we were settled before he left us for our stay. Great guy. Great area. I highly suggest you check this beautiful piece of PA out. 🖤

This HipCamp is awesome! I am an avid tent camper but wanted something easy and comfortable - Ridge Top Retreat was perfect. I stayed two nights but wished for more. The site is nestled back in the trees next to a field. I was greeted with fresh flowers in multiple vases, adding a nice homey touch. The tent is wonderful. Comfortable bed, clean linens, twinkle lights, cozy blankets and pillows. I was pleased to find lanterns, extra batteries and a first aid kit. Such a cute bathroom! How can a bathroom be cute? You’ll see! The outdoor shower has warm water (turn on the propane tank first, then hit the switch for instant hot water!) and a port-a-potty type bucket toilet. Very very clean bathroom, stocked with towels/soap/etc, and even has a motion sensor nightlight. The fire ring is stocked with plenty of firewood, and lighter fluid if you forget to bring newspaper/starters. A handy grate is available, and a few pans, to cook your food. Bring foil and your lighter and you’re all set. Note that there is a fridge in some photos and reviews- there is no longer a fridge, so make sure you have a cooler. Gas stations aren’t too far if you need ice and snacks. My pup and I did a day trip to Prince Galitzen park (25 minutes). At night, we lit the tiki torches (citronella fluid provided), sat around the fire (chairs provided) and wandered into the field to star gaze. I would love to return.

Just got home and looking forward to the next time we can go! Quiet with only nature sounds and an occasional car. The rv was bigger than I thought. Plenty of room and well laid out. Close to lots of things to do in the area where we enjoyed Amish country, fishing at Mahoney Dam and hiking multiple places plus a good book sitting outside at "home". Evening campfires with Richard's perfectly dry firewood and glorious stars made our time the perfect getaway.
Richard is a five star plus host. He checks in to make sure everything is OK and was quick to respond to messages.

Marty and were so accommodating! We were welcomed and shown the options for parking. Our site was gorgeous. We could have stayed for a few days to check out the bike trails and hiking, but alas, we only had one night at the farm. Would definitely stay again. A bit off the beaten path, and so worth it! Weekend Trip to Elevated RV Camping at Rustic Acres
We absolutely loved it! My husband’s from UT. Camping is his thing, not mine…but this was awesome. Well stocked camp site. Everything you need is there….and clean with a white duvet (my personal fav). Clean bathrooms, showers, a beach, bike trail, walking trails, waterfalls nearby…truly a nice weekend adventure. We’ll come again!

I really enjoyed getting to camp out in a place surrounded by the sight and sound of goats, chickens and horses. I loved the fact that although it's surrounded by forest, the hillside is fairly open and floods with bright morning sunlight. I even got a tour of the farm to pet the animals!

Really beautiful property with several campsites to choose from. Very private and rustic. There is a serviceable outhouse, fire ring and picnic table. He is working on a shower! Great place for a one-night stop.
