The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. Welcome to your Pocono Waterfront Retreat! We are just a skip, hop and a jump away from the lake. Step outside and hear the sound of the water from the creek next to us, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature. Summit lake is also known to be great for fishing. You can fish on our lake using our dock. We provide some kayaks and boats for some water activities and also have a game area that includes a shuffleboard, a pool table, electronic dartboard, a Foosball for you to enjoy indoors. The space Our 4 bedroom two bath home is over 2000 sqft. It has an open concept entertainment area with tons of games for some friendly competition with friends and family. Some of our amenities include: - smart 70” TV. We provide Hulu (that has many channels like ESPN+ and Disney+). TV has Roku so you can access your own preferred account for streaming. 3 bedrooms have TV except bunk bed room. -king bed in largest room - Central air conditioning and heating. - electric fireplace - arcade machine with 5 games -The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary items you need to make a meal. - fire pit with plenty of chairs to sit around ( BYO firewood) - outdoor dining table -large 6 burner propane grill - Included are boats for you to use if you want some water fun, we have two pedal boats, a row boat and a tandem kayak. - We have an 8x12 floating dock with a ramp where you can launch our boats or simply sit to go fishing. -we also provide adult/child life vests Location We are located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains! Approximate distance to main attractions in Poconos Mountains: - Kalahari Waterpark (6 mins away) - Mountain Creek Riding Stables (10 mins away) - Camelback Mountain Resort (15 mins) - Great Wolf Lodge Water Park (15 mins) - Tannersville Premium Outlet Shopping (15 mins away) - Camel Beach & Aquatopia (18 mins away) - Pocono Raceway (18 mins away) - Stock Car Racing Experience (20 mins away) - Skytop Ziplining (24 mins away) - Pocono Whitewater Rafting (32 mins away) - Whitewater Challengers Rafting (36 mins away) There are a few supermarkets about 5-10 mins away for grocery shopping. Restaurants are close by, about 5 minutes away to get some pizza, chinese food or Perkins. There is also a Walmart, an ALDI and CVS if you need some last minute supplies. *There are also optional community facilities you can access for a small daily fee (currently at $5 per person a day) There is a beach, a newly renovated outdoor pool, and a basketball court. If you are interested to use the facility, you can purchase a wristband during your stay or inquire with your host prior so you can get more details about it. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. You will incur a fine from security dept if caught. I really appreciate your cooperation for your safety. Other things to note Please read " HOUSE RULES" before booking. We have a Well water system, bring your own preferred water bottle for drinking. We have a water filtration system for the house and a Brita if you would like to use it. We also have a queen sofa pull out bed in the living room and a futon in the largest room for when you need it. Our home is fully equipped w/ stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, blender, dishware/flatware, drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, spices, bar seating. Firewood is not included. Bring your own firewood for the fire pit.

You'll feel like you've stepped back in time as you take in the vibrant colors, bold patterns, and geometric shapes that are synonymous with this iconic era. Bring back the nostalgia with popular games on the Pac-Man arcade machine. Enjoy a game of pool and darts, or simply hang out and gather with friends and family in our entertainment/game room. The cabin has three cozy bedrooms, each with comfortable bedding to ensure a good night's sleep. There are two full bathrooms, one is located next to the master's bedroom adjacent to an extra sleeping area in the loft. Just some of our many amenities worth noting: - Smart TV's. I loved my stay in this cabin; everything was beautiful with the snow and very cozy. The only thing is that I went at the beginning of winter and it was very cold. If you're looking for a place without internet and want to be away from the city, it's perfect for you.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Mr ,Russ the GM. The cabin fire was prelit for us and it was really toasty. Thanks Russ! We recommend bringing lots of water and lanterns as there is no running water or electricity at the saw mill. This is a wonderful place to go and enjoy ,

The Cabin with No Name exceeded every expectation we had. The awesome book selection, incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing shower, the vast land of trails behind it all paired with quirky/cozy decor are only a few of the warm takeways from this experience. Kat swiftly responded to us and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed it here so much we decided to extend our trip in the middle of it. It's obvious the care, attention and love that was put into this place. It truly felt like our home away from home. Would absolutely return here.

We spent 2 nights and had a nice stay. It was cooler weather so not many people camping, nice and quiet. Rus who manages the campground was awesome. Friendly, helpful, fun guy. Some feedback for the Hipcamp listing, all we got was an address which lead us to a cabin a mile or so away from the actual site. We had to knock on someone’s door to get help figuring out where to go. I had messaged the host early in the day to let them know when we’d be arriving. No response.

Weekend Trip to Pocono Cabin With No Name

We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely amazing experience. We loved every minute of our experience and plan on returning. Cozy, comfortable and charming. It came with absolutely everything - all we actually needed to bring was our clothes. Stayed in fall to see the leaves change and the surrounding area is beautiful.

Open field site with a lovely overlook of the river. I checked in at the main office, took the offer for their (permanent? sleeps 4-6) tent on the property, and the host even kindly helped jump start my car on my last morning as it had had some battery issues recently. Wifi available but spotty far away from the main office, I didn't have a chance to check out the bath facilities.

Weekend Trip to Cranberry Run Campground

We had such a wonderful stay at Cranberry Run Campground! The campground is peaceful, clean, and well maintained. They had a really cool game room. The staff and other campers were friendly and helpful. We loved how close it is to the Sherman Theater. Cranberry Run was a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy autumn in the Poconos. We will definitely return!
