If advanced notice, an hour Lesson or Ride can be scheduled. Our animals are friendly and love attention. Dogs welcome but need a leash. Our Family run Farm is willing to accommodate your needs. Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh. Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay. The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops. You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby. Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects.
