Available to rent is a fully furnished 24ft yurt which is beyond "glamping" with all the comforts of a home. It has an attached full bath, queen bed and "XL" size bunk cots, kitchenette, couches, TV, WI-FI, covered deck, firepit and more.
Also to rent is a campsite with picnic table, firepit, portable toilet, tent space and gravel drive. Bring own water and pack out all waste. Also a grass field with corn hole and a rope swing to play.
(Host home is on site. Your campsite is your private space but outdoor space in general may be shared with host family. Property is home to a free ranging flock of ducks (add "meet the flock" to your booking to hand feed them!), an off-leash family dog Neeka, and our kitty Yin.)

Many unfinished cob buildings cover our property, that have been built (and continue to be worked on) in our natural building workshops.
Only a half hour drive to both Eugene and Corvallis. One hour to the coast and only 2 hours to Portland. We are surrounded by many wineries, all closer than 10 miles away. Bennett winery, that is less than 2 miles away, even offers live music and a different food truck every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are close to both Fernridge reservoir and Triangle Lake, for fishing, boating, and swimming.

This was one of the best places we have stayed with Hip Camp. The yurt was tiptop clean. The property spacious was peaceful. Janean did not bother us but was there if we needed her. We recommend this place to everyone. J & C

The location to beaches, lakes, and town can't be beat. Great local recommendations as well! The yurt is very homey complete with kitchen essentials such as full-size fridge, 2-burner hot plate, We had duck eggs each morning, and loved hearing the ducks quacking and watching them bathe. We loved looking up to the sky at night from the yurt!

We are so grateful to Janine and her family for letting our pretty large family rent out her yurt and campsite. We loved the ducks greeting us upon our arrival, which she let the little ones feed. Her dog was also a big hit! The cozy yurt had everything we could need or want. The rain coming down on the yurt roof was magical sounding. We loved hanging around the campfire, Janine sells firewood which was super convenient. We made such great memories here and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience glamping close to town! Thank you Janine and family for sharing your lovely property with us! 🩷

Weekend Trip to Burgess Backyard
This was our first yurt and it was the best experience, so inviting and cozy. We felt so safe and secured, it was quiet from outside noises, and had everything we would need. I’m so jealous of Janine’s gorgeous lot, beautiful pets, fun swing, and cool roof of the yurt! Would for sure love to come back with a bigger group, it was right by the Lake, sand dunes, and sweet creek trails. This place checked all my boxes for sure when searching for glamping.

Loved staying in this charming, well maintained yurt. The private composting toilet is close by connected by the deck. The outdoor shower is warm & welcoming. There is a cottage 100ft or so away, but it is still very quiet & peaceful. Rope lights illuminate the deck and add to the charm. There is even a mini fridge. A neighboring rooster gives a wake up call.

Weekend Trip to Burgess Backyard
This was a perfect place to stay in Florence. Super cozy and roomy yurt, unbeatable convenient location (but also plenty private). Great outside area as well - fire pit, sitting areas, parking, DUCKS. Janine was a great host, very responsive. Everything was as described and worked great - WiFi, heater, great pots and pans etc. Just a lovely lovely place to stay. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

Chloe's yurt was lovely and a perfect getaway for a peaceful weekend. Even though the weather was a little chilly, we stayed wonderfully warm and enjoyed the charm of the outdoor amenities. The care that Chloe and their community have put into tending the land around this little abode was apparent and a joy to be surrounded by.

My family of 4 loved staying in the yurt! The yurt alone was well kept and comfortable. It is attached to the house by a door that locks on both sides. It feels private and has a full private bathroom attached between the house and the yurt. The entire property is fun for children. I have a 10yo, 9yo and 5yo. They romped in the forest, built forts in the rain and enjoyed spending time with the host family. The host family went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We enjoyed the fire-pit for s’mores and family friendly animals. We were close to the ocean, sand dunes, old town Florence, a beautiful lighthouse, etc. Eugene is an hour away for a day trip. We highly recommend staying here!

Me and my family were on a trip to the oregon coast to visit family. I wanted to try something different than a regular hotel, mainly because we had a real bad experience in a hotel on the
coast the last time. We thought Janine's yurt look fun and cozy. One of the nicest things was that we were both super close to Florence, while also being tucked away in a beautiful forest. We went on a trip with my youngest daughter who really enjoyed meeting Janine's kids, and her ducks. Me and my wife's enjoyed checking out the beautiful property. The yurt itself was what we were expecting, a comfy little place that felt like camping, while also giving us homely amenities. As mentioned before, it was a great base camp to be able to explore Florence and the surrounding area. We really had a good time and look forward to being able to come back in the summer!
