Weekend Trip to Ellen's Time Out
What an amazing find. Dave was so accommodating in the space is great, especially if you have dogs. It’s basically his very big backyard completely fenced in. Convenient to Portland, convenient to mount Hood. Made some new friends with a couple who was camping there when we got there. Dave even filled my water tanks before I left.

Camp Cedar Creek is a gem. It's just off 26, and super convenient to lots of hiking and amenities but it feels nice and remote. I van camped with my partner, and having the Blue Barn with a fully stocked kitchen, hang out zone, ping pong table, and clean showers and bathrooms was super handy. We loved walking down to the creek and hiking around the trails, and Jeremy and Lauren (and Juno!) were very welcoming.

Very nice stopover for the night. Very quiet and plenty of room to sit and relax after a long drive. Lots of shopping close by if needed and not too far from the freeway. Dave is very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Even the squirrels were entertaining.

Really beautiful spot and great amenities for van campers. The entire campsite is clean, well organized, and meticulously maintained in a large, serene forest. When we arrived Rachel greeted us and allowed us to park nestled in some trees on her property. She offered up some local restaurants and asked if we needed any other recommendations for the area. We visited Silver Falls during our stay. We car camped and it was nice having a flush toilet and shower to use especially after the long hike. We enjoyed seeing the cows and goats in the pasture. The views were beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at Scrumpy forest! The land and the farm are absolutely beautiful. We were greeted by pigs as we walked to our campsite, and our tent spot felt private. The sink and showers were also a nice luxury to have for camping. We were there with our 3 year old, and he loved seeing all of the animals. Paula was so nice, and took the time to introduce us to some of the farm animals. My son loved the ducklings and getting to pet a sweet sheep. We’ll definitely be coming back :)

Need a place to park the van, get into nature and have access to any amenities you need? This is the place!
I've stayed here a few nights now and will be continuing to stay weekly for work in the area. The entry road and most spots are accessible with my 2wd 97 1 ton camper conversion van and there's special 4wd areas as well.
The blue barn has everything you could need to make coffee, shower and relax, work out, work remotely and even cook a full meal like you would at home with the oversized kitchen.
This place is a dream spot. 10/10

We truly loved staying here and the hosts were amazing. They let my kids collect eggs from the chicken coop and pick vegetables from the garden. We cooked their fresh zucchini and squash and it was delicious. The scenery was incredible and we enjoyed mornings watching the cows graze in a nearby pasture. If we ever pass through, I would book here again and again.

This place is a hidden gem, for sure. A picturesque pastoral landscape view awaits you. We loved letting the dogs play freely in the open field, making friends with the cows on the other side of the fence. Had a cool common area. 50 amp and water were nice bonuses. Rachel greeted us when we got in and was super friendly and helpful, but left us alone to enjoy their property ourselves.

We loved our quick overnight at the Blue Barn! After spending a few weeks on the road in the rig, the hot showers, full kitchen, work spaces, and hangout spaces were such a treat. Lauren and Jeremy are incredible Hipcamp Hosts and I will certainly be back the next time I find myself between Bend and Portland.
