Weekend Trip to The Bunkhouse

Staying at this house felt like stepping into a nature fairytale. Swallows flit through the trees, owls call in the distance, and peaceful trails wind through the woods. Around the house, you’ll find charming little nooks with chairs and tables, perfect for relaxing, reading, or just soaking in the magic. It’s also very accessible from the Portland airport, with a beautiful, scenic drive that sets the tone for the stay. Kim was a fantastic host, warm, thoughtful, and welcoming. We absolutely loved being here. A peaceful retreat full of heart, perfect for nature lovers or anyone looking to recharge. Can’t recommend it enough.

3 nights at Beach Camp - Long Beach Peninsula

This is private, set back and great for groups to hang out. The hosts are wonderful and you get to see deer every morning if you are quiet come through the camp , we usually see at least two every time. There are bear, but we have never seen them in person only their evidence. There are a ton of stickers so you must where shoes always but if the grass is mowed more often it wouldn’t be so bad.

This place was awesome! Mark was super cool. We stayed in spot 1 and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space between spots. The fire pits/picnic tables at each site was nice and portipotties were close by. Auggie was a sweetheart of a host as well;)

We picked the lone rainy weekend in June to camp! But our first night here was great. Each campground seems to have a lot of space (if not a ton of privacy from adjacent sites), and the land is a very easy drive to both Tillamook for supplies and Netarts/Oceanside for beach. Wish it hadn't been raining so hard, since there was lots of nice terrain for laying out with a book, trails to explore, dog to meet… maybe next time!

Such a handy spot to stay at along the coast. Quick access to Oceanside, Cape Meares, Rockaway, Cape Lookout, and more. I love the orchard site. Full grassy spot with east sky views, west tree cover for late afternoon shade. Picnic table and fire pit. Though it's close to the road the hill and surrounding trees makes it very quiet. Convenient, clean portapotties available close by. Let's not forget the Angel welcoming you of the SWEETEST black lab- utter charmer. Grateful for my second stay!

Highly recommend and will come again when in area. “Park like country” setting that we had to ourselves very close to Tillamook. Comes with fire pit, porta-potty, potable water and a wonderful doggie who greeted and hung out with us a bit. We really enjoyed our stay there and Mark, the host, was very responsive via text. Our activities included visits to the Tillamook cheese making facility, Cape Meares lighthouse and hiking the Cape Lookout coastal trail - recommend all three.

Weekend Trip to Road’s end vacation rental Rockaway

Family of 3 had a short weekend stay and we enjoyed the home. The bunk beds are in the master bedroom which disappointed my kid since they are pictured in a different room, but she was happy in the double bed. She *loved* having a tv in her room and it was a special treat. I enjoyed the kitchen size and the cute decorations. Its about 8 blocks to the beach.

Hurlys Hideaway

Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left.

Sites are …… as you drive in first to right in number 1, 2, 3 . 4 is last one to right after cell tower driveway it is now open as an open play area. ( Left hand side is another Hipcamp host they are marked A, B, C, D ) Porta Potty is for my campers it has a combo lock This combo will come to you as automatic message 24hrs prior to arrival time. The lock combo is for top line of lock not the middle. All sites have a picnic table Site 1 and 3 have fire pits. Site 1,3 have campground style BBQ New as of June, 2023 porta potty added. DO NOT put garbage or transfer any waste to porta potty. Jacks Country store in Ocean Park, WA has garbage drop off for small fee depending on size. See in photos FYI FUTURE: We will be adding new fire pits to all sites.

The 2024 Long Beach Rodeo is July 27th and 28th, 2024. Limited horse stalls are available to rent during this time. But Rhett's Ranch is more than just a venue—it's a place where memories are made and cherished. Animals are not typically at the property however, at special events or extended stays (4+ nights) visitors can encounter a menagerie of animals, from mini ponies and donkeys to goats, pigs, and cows. Pretty Beachin Camp

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Things to do/Places to visit: - Surfside Golf Course - Oysterville Sea Farms -Pacific Pines State Park -Leadbetter Point State Park -Downtown Longbeach -Cape Disappointment -Jack's Country Store If you need any ideas or recommendations while visiting, don't hesitate to ask!

Overview

It’s all surf and sandy beaches in Seaside, a small village on Oregon’s north coast. When summer strikes, Seaside comes to life with sun-seekers and adventure hounds. Join in the fun—with swimming, paddling, hiking, and family activities; there’s something for everyone.

Close to town, several private RV parks offer a variety of creature comforts, including Wi-Fi and swimming pools. For year-round RV and tent camping, head north to Fort Stevens State Park near Astoria. Swim in the freshwater lake, or head to the ocean to see a historic shipwreck. In the campground, you’ll find hot showers, picnic tables, and sites with full hookups.

About 20 miles east of Seaside, the Saddle Mountain State Natural Area is the perfect place to get away. From your primitive tent site, hike 2.5 miles to the summit for breathtaking views.

After you explore downtown Seaside, hop on the Tillamook Head Trail. This trail, which was once used by Lewis and Clark, runs south toward Cannon Beach. If you’re through-hiking the Oregon Coast, you can camp in the rustic cabins along the way.

The main camping season near Seaside runs from spring through early fall. Cabin rentals are a great way to enjoy the cold, wet fall and winter. The waves are fierce, and the misty mornings add an element of mystery to every hike.
