Located in the Willamette Valley, where route 240 and 47 meet is the small town of Yamhill. just 3 miles out of town there is a 66 acre farm with forest covered hills, rolling hay fields and a small seasonal creek.
We welcome you to come enjoy some peaceful rest on our farm.
We have 2 camp sites available and more coming soon nestled in the trees across the open hay field where you can watch wildlife.
each site has access to the composting toilet, has their own picnic table, fire ring, access to water, and some extras like hay that can be used for under tents, kindling to help start your fire, a fire extinguisher, access to a propane fire ring during fire danger season, and a few yard games. we do have fire wood available to purchase as well as farm fresh eggs.
the camp sites are seasonal and most will be closed for the wet winter months. they will be open from June to September, depending on the weather we may need to adjust the access to the sites. at times they may be walk in only (about 200ft walk) or four wheel drive access only as they are in a low area of the farm and do not wish anyone to get stuck. if access has been changed I will notify you as soon as I can with an update.
you are welcome to walk around during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.
please message me if you would like a tour of the farm we have a horse boarding stable, rabbits, chickens and goats ( for your safety please do not enter any barns or pastures without permission , preferable accompanied)
you can see and hear some of the animals but most are far enough away that they are not disturbing.

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.**
If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. You're also welcome to bring your kayak and or paddle boards to get out on the water for fishing or just floating the pond.
There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property.
Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way?
Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

Chris and Beth met and started dating in Indianapolis in 2009 where both were working on their graduate education. During their first date, Chris announced his goal of developing a vineyard and making wine. As the relationship evolved, Chris worked toward the goal by researching viticulture, attending classes and investigating potential vineyard sites. In summer of 2011, Chris and Beth got married and dove into the wine industry when they purchased a majestic 62 acre property in the foothills of the coastal mountain range in Yamhill County. The property had been an old timber farm that was in bad shape. In 2012, a portion of the property was cleared and planted and the adventure had just begun!The vineyard was planted in 2012, with additional blocks planted each year since. In 2015 they produced our first lots of Pinor Noir and Sauvignon Blanc and have since expanded the wine selection to offer hand-crafted lots of Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Dolcetto, Lagrein and more.These days, Chris manages the day to day operations of the farm and wine production while Beth manages the business.

In the early 1980's the family began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision for quite some time.

Zenith Vineyards was a lovely, quiet place for conveniently spending an autumn night in my little tent while visiting family nearby. I simply parked out near the barn at the edge of a vineyard and pitched my tent on a level spot. I didn't need any facilities, so it was just right.

Prefect little personal site with your own pond. I really enjoyed my weekend here! I don’t fish but I could see them jumping all weekend. Nice fire pit and a gas grill if you need. Got water and electric hookup. Joel is a super awesome and kind human!

We had a blast at Joel’s place with our kids and dog. It was relaxing being right on the water. We had some fun nearby outings including milkshakes at Alf’s, the Mason-Rivera sculpture garden, and Evergreen Wings and Waves water park. On site we enjoyed kayaking, exploring the cemetery, watching the beavers and turtle, and of course s’mores! Joel was a very gracious and generous host.

We were camped in the middle of the vineyard which was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. It was just a short walk through the vineyard to go to the tasting room. The owners and their family were all very gracious and quite friendly and inviting. The staff was very friendly and informative about the wine and the production of the wine!
We would definitely come back to Zenith Vineyards especially during the harvest season!

We loved spending the night in the vineyard! It was truly something very special with that nice view from the hill with the the clear stars in the sky and surrounded by the vineyard! It was easy to find even late at night thanks to good instructions by the host. They are very nice and we even bought one of their yummy wines from the tasting room - which is also amazing.

Fantastic pond side site in view of wildlife. Lots of space to set up on level ground.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds, beavers and otters. My husband caught several fish! Walks in the cemetery were very peaceful.
Joel was pleasant and truly wanted to make our stay perfect- and it was!
We definitely plan on returning.

Thank you so much for welcoming us to your property! It is truly a beautiful place, and we had such a peaceful overnight surrounded by acres of forest, rolling hills, and fields of grapes. Everything felt so clean, serene, and relaxing. We especially appreciated the off-leash policy for dogs—after a week of travel, our pup Fifi loved the freedom and had the best time exploring. We were treated to gorgeous morning views and left feeling refreshed and rested. We had some delays along our route and arrived after wine tasting hours, so unfortunately were not able to experience to the fullest, but we hope to come back! Thank you again!
