Welcome to Squared Roots Farm, a Garlic Farm and homestead in Alsea, Oregon. We specialize in gourmet hardneck garlic and sustainable farming practices. You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! Weekend/weekday get away with indoor and outdoor activities ! Grange Hall Garden's RV spots include a 30' X 70' Grange type hall with restroom with tub and shower, and kitchen. Rain or shine, get away for a refreshing time. The RV Garden Spot is situated by three gardens on our ranch: A heavenly scented and restful flower garden with hanging basket seats and swing; a peaceful rose garden with stream and fish pond complete with goldfish and koi; and a fruitful vegetable garden. RV View Spot has an amazing view right outside your door. It has lots of green grass for pets and children to run and play, or just sit in your lawn chair and enjoy the spectacular view. Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

When we arrived Rachel greeted us and allowed us to park nestled in some trees on her property. She offered up some local restaurants and asked if we needed any other recommendations for the area. We visited Silver Falls during our stay. We car camped and it was nice having a flush toilet and shower to use especially after the long hike. We enjoyed seeing the cows and goats in the pasture. The views were beautiful.

We truly loved staying here and the hosts were amazing. They let my kids collect eggs from the chicken coop and pick vegetables from the garden. We cooked their fresh zucchini and squash and it was delicious. The scenery was incredible and we enjoyed mornings watching the cows graze in a nearby pasture. If we ever pass through, I would book here again and again.

This place is a hidden gem, for sure. A picturesque pastoral landscape view awaits you. We loved letting the dogs play freely in the open field, making friends with the cows on the other side of the fence. Had a cool common area. 50 amp and water were nice bonuses. Rachel greeted us when we got in and was super friendly and helpful, but left us alone to enjoy their property ourselves.

Weekend Trip to Bamboo Forest Campsite

Directions we're clear, the gate was easy to locate and access was smooth! We had a birthday party and everyone was able to make their own pizza in the earthenware stove! It was nice having easy access to creature comforts with the tent platforms, nearby composing toilet and running water. I love the canopy with the bamboo on one side and the linden trees along the other. My favorite part of this location is listening to the wind in the leaves 🍃 We'll definitely be back!

Great little camp spot for our trailer with a nice view of the valley. We were close to their hall, which had a bathroom we could pop into. My kids loved seeing all the animals - goats, cows, chickens, and we even got some farm fresh eggs. It was about a 30 min drive to Silver Falls State Park and 8 minutes to town where the Safeway was, so nice and convenient. Definitely would recommend!
