Learn more about this land: We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good. We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent. This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

Campers have also enjoyed kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, and the mountain biking trails at Phillips Lake, which is a little over eight miles from TT. For trails, visit Trailforks.com and search Phillips Lake. Trails range from Easy to Black Diamond. This area used to have train tracks nearby, thus the road name Old Trestle Lane. Legend has it that "there's gold in them there hills". Visit nearby gold mining town, Sumpter (about 45 minute drive), while you're here. Weekend Trip to Waterfront cabin and camping

Location is beautiful--about 40 minutes on a gravel road outside of Huntington on the Snake River. The camper itself is pretty rustic and bare bones. Be sure to bring your own towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen has just enough supplies to make a very simple meal and the appliances worked fine. Thanks to Danny and the dogs for hosting us 😀

What a wonderful place Grady Sr. and Kathleen have created on their beautiful farm. The Glamping tent was perfect for exploring the Joseph area. The nights were quiet and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The outdoor shower was the perfect way to relax after a day on the trails. This was absolutely breathtaking!! The long dirt road was an exciting adventure and the hosts met us when we arrived. Such a cute rustic cabin overlooking the river where you can walk and check out the area. They introduced us to the farm animals, which was such a delight. Purchased fresh ingredients from them for our breakfast and it was delicious! Lovely family and we definitely recommend! Thank you again for everything, until next time!

This was a great spot! My husband and I stayed here as a pit stop on our way to Washington and we're so happy we did! The weather was perfect for us and nobody else was camping around, so it was so nice and quiet and peaceful. The directions that Matt recommended we print out made it easy to find, as well. From the communal space, the hike to TT4 only took us 2 mins, but we're avid hikers from Colorado so it was easy peasy. The drive up was also not bad; less than a handful of spots with some dips/bumps/gravel patches that should be easy to navigate even if you don't have high clearance (but if you've ever driven trails in the Rocky Mountains, then this should be a breeze for ya lol). There were even gallons of water and a shovel waiting for us at the campsite, though there were fire restrictions while we were there. All around great spot to spend some time at while passing through!

Great space to tent camp. Plenty of room for the dogs to play and the sounds of the river always playing in the background. Felt private. The sky is big and offered beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Convenient location close to both Joseph and enterprise. The host, Grady, was easy to communicate with if we had any questions or needs.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Kathleen and Grady's Hipcamp! Although we'd initially booked it as a backup since Wallowa Lake State Park was full, it ended up being a real highlight of our trip... totally worth it for such a unique experience. The site was enormous and peaceful, and Grady was so thoughtful to give us great local recommendations, replace our drinking water, and check in about our stay. The creek was such a bonus, too... both for us and our dog. We all enjoyed soaking our feet after a long hike up the nearby Hurricane Creek Trail (Grady, you were right... totally worth it!). Next time we camp in the area, we won't even need to check the campground openings... we'll go straight to this place. Thank you so much, Kathleen and Grady. Oh boy was this perfect. The property is beyond what was expected. Wide open spaces, Grady was beyond helpful and we loved the proximity to activities without having to stay near them lol!!

Weekend Trip to Twisted Pine Ranch, LLC

Outstanding views in all directions, and a friendly, informative host in Meredith. If you’re dry/tent camping (we were in a rooftop tent on our truck), be advised there is no shade. Keep in mind that the site is a working ranch, so their work is ongoing throughout the day. We would stay again.

So so beautiful- definitely worth the drive. Check your email for instructions, Matt is pretty on top of the communications. Highly recommend printing out the map/instructions, makes for a quicker, safer journey. Overall, great experience!

Great place to tent camp and to get away from the crowds. Only 5 minutes to Joseph and only 10 minutes to Wallowa Lake. The tent site is very well kept, quiet, and right next to the Wallowa River. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Grady and Kathleen.

I picked this place on a recent trip because the location was convenient and it was cheap. The people here were nice and gave me a better spot with shade because it was a warm day when I stayed there. It was good enough for what I needed that day. Would probably stay here again if I was passing through.

We loved our stay in the glamping tent at Evan’s Farm! Kathy and Grady were so welcoming and helped us find our way even in the dark! We woke up to the most stunning view of the farm with the mountains behind and ponies there to greet us! We got an insider tip from Grady on an amazing hike, went paddle boarding at Wallowa Lake and ended the night with a fire and s’mores at the farm! Kathy and Grady have thought of and provided everything to make it the easiest glamping trip and the bed lived up to the hype! We were so cozy and comfortable. Thank you for hosting us and we can’t wait to come back and stay longer!
