Learn more about our land: In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here. With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season! It is not a destination for drunken parties, or late night revelry. Respect for other campers is paramount. We are currently a rustic camp in an incredibly beautiful setting. You must be self contained, and carry away all garbage, and any solid human waste. We do have Toilet Buckets with Liners available for rent. The campgrounds are widely spaced, private and bordered by two creeks with a wonderful wading/swimming hole for warm days. RV's are allowed, but must be self contained. There are several excellent and fairly level sites available. In each designated camp you will find a picnic table with an umbrella, fire pit, water bucket and shovel (to put campfires out), space for tents and cooking in a beautiful setting. Beginning in August of 2022, private group camping will be available in "Maple Meadow", our own special private meadow hideaway. Three Glamping Style tents with queen beds, on decks with everything you need but sleeping bags and your food/cooking gear will be onsite! CLOSED FOR THE SEASON - CHECK BACK NEXT YEAR! Timbersands is an up and coming 52 acre organic farm on the Oregon Coast, I started this project in 2022 with the goal of growing fruits and vegetables year round, with the help of greenhouses and the temperate coastal climate. The property has a long history as an original 1910 homestead that began as a cranberry farm and later a blueberry farm. Now it is mostly a natural coastal forest with some sunny pastures, gardens and winding creeks. Located 6 miles north of Pacific City and less than a mile from Sand Lake beaches and recreation area. Enjoy a dispersed camping atmosphere without the hassle of neighbors right next door. Please note there are free range chickens and other farm animals, as well as wild elk and deer. If you have pets that chase or attack animals they need to be on leash at all times, but they are always welcome. Filtered and UV treated spring water for fill ups. Brand new weekly cleaned portable toilet. Please pack out any trash. Firewood available on request. Busy weekends bring distant noise of ATVs on the sand dunes! Rock Crick Acres

This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit. Complimentary 2 bundles of firewood, BBQ, table, chairs to use are available. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit. We ask if the ground is wet you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideaway. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get quite a bit of barking from the dogs to the east. I just want to be honest and warn you. Those east dogs don't like other dogs for some reason.

Riverberry Retreat Camp

Riverberry is the perfect setting to get outside and connect with nature. Relax on the riverfront, go for a swim under a waterfall, fish, hike, rockhound, and explore old growth rainforest, located on the beautiful and pristine North Fork Nehalem River. There is plenty of room for private or group camping. Sites are secluded and firewood, ice and fresh eggs are for sale on site; shared portable toilets for camp guests and potable water is available at the homestead for filling your containers. The North Fork Nehalem river is home to some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing around. It is still a wild place and not uncommon to see deer, elk, beaver, bald eagles, coyotes and a very rare bear sighting. You will be a 20 minute drive away from the coast in Manzanita for beach beach combing, farmers market, unique shops, epic hikes and local cuisine. Just past Manzanita, another 10-20 mins further, are Cannon Beach and Seaside. Check-in is from 2-7pm. If you need accommodations outside of that time frame please give us at least 24 hour notice. Rsvp are subject to cancellation without 24 hour notice of late arrival. We are happy to offer suggestions or answer any questions you have about your stay, just ask!

Puget Island's Robert W. Little Preserve is home to a population of endangered Columbian white-tailed deer.You can walk the beach, kayak the Columbia River, or ride bikes on miles of flat Puget Island roads. There's also hiking, swimming in the Columbia on our beach, fishing, wild life viewing that entails many bird species (hawks, eagles, white tail deer). Long Beach on the Pacific ocean is 1 hour away. During your stay, you'll even see ships cruise by very closely. The property has easily accessible no matter the size of your RV and there's plenty of room to park multiple vehicles. This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit. Complimentary 2 bundles of firewood, BBQ, table, chairs to use are available. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit. We ask if the ground is wet you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideaway. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get quite a bit of barking from the dogs to the east. I just want to be honest and warn you. Those east dogs don't like other dogs for some reason.

Located on the Eastern edge of Oregon's Coast Range, Kitten Creek Adventure Camp was designed for families, friends and groups to share special times together in a beautiful natural environment.. Situated on the Western edge of Oregon's award winning wine country, and just an hour from Newport Aquarium, 45 minutes from Tillamook, Salem, and McMinnville, 40 minutes to Lincoln City, 30 minutes from Pacific City, Tierra Del Mar/Sand Lake, and 20 minutes from the Nestucca Wildlife Refuge and Hebo! It is not a destination for drunken parties, or late night revelry. Respect for other campers is paramount. We are currently a rustic camp in an incredibly beautiful setting. You must be self contained, and carry away all garbage, and any solid human waste. We do have Toilet Buckets with Liners available for rent. The campgrounds are widely spaced, private and bordered by two creeks with a wonderful wading/swimming hole for warm days. RV's are allowed, but must be self contained. There are several excellent and fairly level sites available. In each designated camp you will find a picnic table with an umbrella, fire pit, water bucket and shovel (to put campfires out), space for tents and cooking in a beautiful setting. Beginning in August of 2022, private group camping will be available in "Maple Meadow", our own special private meadow hideaway. Three Glamping Style tents with queen beds, on decks with everything you need but sleeping bags and your food/cooking gear will be onsite! Timbersands is an up and coming 52 acre organic farm on the Oregon Coast, I started this project in 2022 with the goal of growing fruits and vegetables year round, with the help of greenhouses and the temperate coastal climate. The property has a long history as an original 1910 homestead that began as a cranberry farm and later a blueberry farm. Now it is mostly a natural coastal forest with some sunny pastures, gardens and winding creeks. Located 6 miles north of Pacific City and less than a mile from Sand Lake beaches and recreation area. Enjoy a dispersed camping atmosphere without the hassle of neighbors right next door. Please note there are free range chickens and other farm animals, as well as wild elk and deer. If you have pets that chase or attack animals they need to be on leash at all times, but they are always welcome. Filtered and UV treated spring water for fill ups. Brand new weekly cleaned portable toilet. Please pack out any trash. Firewood available on request. Busy weekends bring distant noise of ATVs on the sand dunes!
