Also, We are putting up a 20' Tipi this weekend and we plan on fixing up the inside proper and will be renting it out to those interested in sleeping in a Tipi. It will most likely sleep 6-8 depending on bedding I can fit inside. Until then I'm happy to rent it out empty like a big tent. Sleeping 6-8 but you will need to bring your own cots, bedding etc. Just text me for details. This was a Christmas tree farm years ago, and I have let it go natural. I’ve planted new trees and now we live amongst our own forests . We hope to one day have tree houses, earth ships, Tipis and log cabins to rent. We are open to RVs and fifth wheels but no plug-ins yet. We’re a work in progress So it’s tent camping for now . We have 2 year round running creeks and 3 beautiful forests. We are a work in progress, but we have a year-round working farm. We grow our own food, flowers and animals. We are currently working on a big outdoor kitchen, where we will have pizza ovens, canning facilities and a beautiful place to gather in the woods. Again still a work in progress. Some spots have fire pits. Again depending on time of year and heat conditions. Because we have so many trees, we have to make sure no fires are to close to any tree's. The town of Veneta is 5 miles away where you will find Ray's, Dairy Queen, BiMart, Taco Time, Subway, Pizza, Autoparts store, Ace Hardware and more. It is a small town. 14 miles farther up the road on 126 will be Eugene. The Lake is in between.Simple and peaceful. Can watch the train access the street and up the hill in the trees when it goes by. Listen to the birds singing daily. Nights are dark, as there are no city lights. Small store, gas station, and pub near by. Organic small gardens going on. Apple and elderberry trees. Surrounded by the Noti Creek. Currently we offer outdoor sink with cold running water attached to the hose. Portapotty We have milk jugs with frozen water available for coolers, so people don't have to buy ice. ( As long as we can keep up with the demand.) Lost Coast Adventure Camp

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy!

River View

Glenada was incorporated in 1912 and disincorporated in 1922 after the town's sawmills burned. This side of the river was pretty bustling before the Siuslaw bridge was built in 1936, being quite a transformative event considering the ferry from Glenada to Florence was the main way across the river. River View is located up on Glenada mountain, on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood bundles and farm-fresh eggs available for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This is a beautiful rustic property close enough to Hwy 101 to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! Learn more about this land: River View is located on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere. We have 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land just below the campsite. We offer firewood bundles and farm-fresh chicken eggs for an additional fee. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway but once at the top, it is flat and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red tail hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). Walk down to Old Town for dinner or bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Pricket state park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by! No bathroom or running water but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available.

Please note, due to construction of the Scottsburg Bridge, there’s construction noise on weekdays. Due to the the adjacent highway there is traffic noise. $85/nite per RV (there are 2 spaces); 6 people per RV max. Fire bans begin during seasonal dry times, typically beginning end of June through November. Pets welcome, toilets, showers, kitchen, picnic tables, laundry, and trash bins on site. Our piece of heaven… We have a 200 acre tree farm cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is quite long to get you into peacefully privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade as needed. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. We have a small horse corral if requested. We have many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck! Sorry no ATV use on property at this time. Oar Creek Adventure Camp

This wooded getaway offers privacy and a bit of room to stretch out with family, friends and pets. Located just off of HWY 38, only minutes to Reedsport and the 'Gateway to the Oregon Dunes'. You will find anything you might need in town, from groceries to fishing and crabbing equipment. Truly one of the most beautiful areas of the Oregon coast, activities in the region abound. Crabbing and fishing are centralized in Winchester Bay, about 10 minutes away. You are also located very near the mouth of the mighty Umpqua River, one of the best salmon fisheries in the state. Easy access to the coastal dunes is available up and down HWY 101 both North and South. Winchester Bay offers the closest entrance to the dunes where you can ride atvs and 4x4s and permits can be purchased in town. Stunning options for hiking, biking and mushroom hunting surround you here on the central Oregon Coast. With rainforest on one side of HWY 101 and coastal dunes on the other, there are many opportunities to explore different types of forested areas and trails. Wildlife enthusiasts are just minutes away from the Dean Creek Elk Viewing wildlife recreational area on HWY 38. This large herd can be seen daily grazing in the meadows.

Below the Falls Lodge

Relax and revive in this artistic 'cabin' with wonderful views of historic Glenn Creek from every room. An architectural dream, you enter this lodge style home through a pivoting hobbit style front door with hardware from the 1800's. Highlights of this original home include a gourmet kitchen with labradorite granite counters, 800 year old juniper tree spiral stair case, huge beams and exposed rafters, a sauna, and a romantic wood stove. Also each upstairs bedroom has a hanging bed with three 8 foot skylights above for indoor star gazing. Original artworks from local artists are throughout the home. Many pleasantries await the curious such as embedded fossils in the cracked mud walls.Nestled amongst towering fir and cedar trees, with windows everywhere, you'll feel and see nature's presence. This home site has a remarkably peaceful way about it. Recently featured in Southern Oregon Magazine and KCBY 11 TV's ~In Focus~ 'Goin' Green' and Oregon's Solar Home Tour, this is a unique 'green' home. This home was built with environmentally friendly materials. Building with little impact on the surroundings was very important to us during construction. The myrtle hardwood floor in the kitchen and living room was milled on site which came from trees that stood where the house is now. Same story for the beautiful maple flooring in the ½ bath. All of the large beams and fir flooring came from two 4' thick 104 year old douglas fir trees which also stood and were milled where the house is now. The fir trees sprouted after the last forest fire that came through the canyon. One of our neighbors fell a sixty five year old redwood that was over six feet thick! We used some of it as a wonderful wainscot paneling throughout the house. All of the finishes used are no or low VOC. Surrounding the house is native vegetation, huge trees and a few herbs and spices for cooking. You'll enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with labradorite granite counters. The kitchen island has a new five burner gas stove with a convection oven and warming oven. The island has plenty of granite and wood counter space. Hanging from the exhaust hood are stainless, non-stick, and cast iron cookware. We also provide shade grown fair trade coffee and a grinder, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, utensils, chef knives, glasses and frosty cocktail glasses in the freezer. The dining room table has a river view and can seat six comfortably. There is also seating for three at the island bar. From the kitchen you can visit with the folks in the living room thanks to the open floor plan. Beside the wood stove are two chairs and the futon couch with reading lamp. A CD changer, TV with a DVD player and VHS machine are in the downstairs bedroom. Bring your favorite videos or browse our selection of movies. The property has 150 feet of creek frontage with great views of Glenn creek, the forest and distant cliffs. Enjoy wildlife viewing with River Dippers, Chipmunks, Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Screech Owls, Pileated Wood Peckers, Elk, an occasional Bald Eagle or River Otter and other wildlife from the house and back deck. Build a fire and have lunch on the nearby picnic table and benches.

The Captain Cook is just 2 blocks from the beach. You can see the ocean from the street in front of the house, which is nestled among wild rhododendrons and windswept coastal pines. A central entry and parking spot is gated from the street and has a second, large separately gated driveway with space for vehicles such as a toy hauler or boat trailer.Once inside, the open floor plan with kitchen, living room, and dining room welcome you to 1100 square foot recently (2020) built home. Vaulted ceilings, large windows, and step-free entry from car to most outside entrances invite the outside in- and the inside out to the varied, and sometimes whimsical gardens and coastal forest. A separate entry to an to an apartment above is only used during the owners. occasional visits. An eclectic mix of antique, exotic, and new furniture gives the home a cozy comfortable feel. A traditional oak table seating 4-6 is easily expanded if you want to have friends or relatives over for dinner. The living room has a sofa lounge, a large book collection, and a 43 inch TV with Roku streaming internet TV programming, and dimmable lighting throughout the home lets you set a mood for most every space.The kitchen caters to those who like to socialize while cooking, having a large center island with seating for four, an unusual 5 burner electric range (with typical microwave above and of course a dishwasher), a very accessible french door refrigerator/freezer, and generously sized cabinets. The cooking tools, gadgets, and cooking and serving ware are supplemented with a stand mixer, bread maker, panini grill, blender, coffee maker, and even a waffle iron. the kitchenThe amply-sized bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet, a direct door to the bathroom, and a sliding glass door out to a private deck with a view of the hillside garden (early cup of coffee, anyone?). Lost Coast Adventure Camp

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy!

The town of Veneta is 5 miles away where you will find Ray's, Dairy Queen, BiMart, Taco Time, Subway, Pizza, Autoparts store, Ace Hardware and more. It is a small town. 14 miles farther up the road on 126 will be Eugene. The Lake is in between.Simple and peaceful. Can watch the train access the street and up the hill in the trees when it goes by. Listen to the birds singing daily. Nights are dark, as there are no city lights. Small store, gas station, and pub near by. Organic small gardens going on. Apple and elderberry trees. Surrounded by the Noti Creek. Currently we offer outdoor sink with cold running water attached to the hose. Portapotty We have milk jugs with frozen water available for coolers, so people don't have to buy ice. ( As long as we can keep up with the demand.) This side of the river was pretty bustling before the Siuslaw bridge was built in 1936, being quite a transformative event considering the ferry from Glenada to Florence was the main way across the river. River View is located up on Glenada mountain, on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood bundles and farm-fresh eggs available for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This is a beautiful rustic property close enough to Hwy 101 to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). Walk down to Old Town for dinner or bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Pricket state park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by! No bathroom or running water but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available.

Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is quite long to get you into peacefully privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade as needed. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. We have a small horse corral if requested. We have many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck! Sorry no ATV use on property at this time. Oar Creek Adventure Camp

This wooded getaway offers privacy and a bit of room to stretch out with family, friends and pets. Located just off of HWY 38, only minutes to Reedsport and the 'Gateway to the Oregon Dunes'. This almost 7 acre parcel encompasses a beautiful valley of coastal wetlands where you will enjoy approximately 1 acre of leveled camping space with two 30 amp hookups and potable water on site. In addition, we provide 4 comfortable Adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. You are also just minutes to the very convenient Town of Reedsport dumping station at the corner of HWYs 38 and 101. You will find anything you might need in town, from groceries to fishing and crabbing equipment. Truly one of the most beautiful areas of the Oregon coast, activities in the region abound. Crabbing and fishing are centralized in Winchester Bay, about 10 minutes away. You are also located very near the mouth of the mighty Umpqua River, one of the best salmon fisheries in the state. Easy access to the coastal dunes is available up and down HWY 101 both North and South. Winchester Bay offers the closest entrance to the dunes where you can ride atvs and 4x4s and permits can be purchased in town. Stunning options for hiking, biking and mushroom hunting surround you here on the central Oregon Coast. With rainforest on one side of HWY 101 and coastal dunes on the other, there are many opportunities to explore different types of forested areas and trails. Wildlife enthusiasts are just minutes away from the Dean Creek Elk Viewing wildlife recreational area on HWY 38. This large herd can be seen daily grazing in the meadows.
