Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. The nights are very dark so stargazing is a treat! The property includes 1/4 mi of river, numerous ponds, big open meadows and close to a mile of property road, plus a forest trail. Each cabin has easy access to a composting toilet and bath or shower. Firewood is included at each cabin for the wood stove. The tap water is drinkable, otherwise there will be bottled water for you.
We cannot have open fires and don't allow smoking on the property. We prefer not to have dogs.
There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property.
This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know!
Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.

After viewing the amazing star-filled night skies, fall into a deep relaxed sleep and wake up to birds singing, enjoy your coffee and a nature walk. This serene and quiet RV spot consists of an open space nestled in beautiful mixed woodlands of mature doug fir, cedar, pine and madrone on our 60 acre property (You won’t see our house or shop since these RV spot is on the other side of the property). RV space has 50 amp power, well water and RV sewer. Your own toilet is a must. Be prepared to “Pac-in, pack-out.” This is a protected wilderness area. There’s a mix of sun and shade. At approximately 2600 ft elevation, a fresh gentle breeze significantly cools the late afternoon and evening summer temperatures. Most cell service carriers do get reception at this location, however, there is no WIFI. This can be a pull-through-and-around area. A long RV/trailer may need to make a y turn.
Short distance nature trails in the adjacent woodlands can be enjoyed in the immediate area. You will be alone in this no-frills spot. Just you and nature and your RV home.

We’re just 4 miles from Selma—easy to reach, yet surrounded by BLM land and pure wilderness. Guests are close to some of the region’s favorite natural gems: Lake Selmac (1 mile), the Illinois River (5 miles), Oregon Caves (45 min), and the Redwoods (1 hour).
Whisper Canyon is a wedding & event venue first and foremost, which means the land has been thoughtfully developed for beauty, comfort, and gatherings.
Outside of our private events, we welcome a unique community of travelers into this enchanted forest. Cabin guests, tent campers, van life nomads, and glampers are all welcome here.
We can host up to 34 overnight guests in our cabins and larger private groups on select weekends using our main event spaces like the Pavilion and the Cosmic Café. Keep in mind that because we host weddings, the noise curfew on the weekends is midnight.

Out’n’About is a treehouse resort located right next to the siskiyou national forest. The 40+ acre property is partially forested with horse pastures and meadows. There are 15 rentals, of which most are treehouses built in oak groves or Douglas fir trees. There is a main lodge where breakfast is served. Outside there is a shared kitchen pavilion with additional bathrooms. There are numerous bbqs, picnic tables, and a shared fire pit.

I loved this place! Partly the location and partly the very nice people there.
About the location: it's not for everyone,; it is a bit of a drive including 5 miles on a scrabble road that is fine. But you get out and away from everyone and into a beautiful spot with a great view. It’s also rather rustic that I like that soon they will have a bath house and it’ll be different.
There’s an example of how they were nice to me: I am 72 years old and have some mobility issues. they were very cognizant of it and helped me get around a little bit. That was very sweet.
I would come back every year if I could.

Joy’s residence was such a pleasure to stay at! We booked both Pine Camp sites and stayed with friends. The 3rd site (Dave’s Camp) wasn’t booked but even if it was, the sites are fairly separated and the Pine Camp sites would have still felt completely private. There is a nice little trail behind the camp sites that the dogs enjoyed, and plenty of shade for hanging out and relaxing! Joy was so friendly, communicative, and was flexible with us when we requested leaving slightly later than normal checkout time (since no one coming in after us). The sites were well set up, clean, and had a cute, cozy vibes to them! As others have stated, the sewer hookup is on the front side of the site and the electric and water is on the back. We chose to wait to hook up sewer and just dumped the tanks right before leaving. The water spigot is set back aways from the site, we had extra hoses so it was no trouble but you will need some hose length (50’) to reach! A wonderful experience and our next trip to the Crater Lake area we will no doubt request to stay with Joy again!

This is an awesome place. Quiet, clean, serene and safe. Close to Crater Lake and many many Rogue River hikes. Our host, Joy was responsive, welcoming and informative. Sites are clean, level, full hook up tucked under pine trees. Cell service is adequate but we have starlink too. I just cannot say enough nice things.
