A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. This land the universe had waiting for us, gave us just that! It changed our lives and now we are excited to open up this sanctuary to others who share our passion for the great outdoors! Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

It is a small campground but every site is full hook up & it had everything we needed, Including picnic table and fire pit . Just the sweetest place ever. Beautiful trees, near as a pin. Cindy was welcoming & accommodating. Quiet, with actual grass for our furbabies. It’s in a neighborhood, so it wasn’t the typical cold impersonal Rv park. We will definitely stay there again when we come to town

We had a great time at site 2. Easy access to the composting toilet (which is awesome!) for my toddlers and it was nice and open for them to run around. The picnic table, hammocks, and grate for cooking over the fire were awesome additions as well!! We will definitely be back, and are excited to try out the more primitive camping sites Ash has to offer!
