This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. The park features a seasonal waterfall, covered picnic areas, playground, amphitheater with seating, community building, scenic views, gift shop and approximately 2 miles of nature trails. Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive mountain terrain (rocky). The one RV site is for 16 ft. or less vehicles and smaller teardrop trailers with limited hook-up and no dump station. Restroom and shower facilities are located within the park. Individual campsites DO NOT have onsite toilets. Forest setting while still close to stores in case of forgotten items. Variety of small wildlife in the area. All sites allow campfires UNLESS we are under a county wide burn ban.

This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay)
River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. Scott County is over 70% public national forest, with thousands of acres of public land available for hiking, ATV/UTV/Jeep riding, and many other activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Beautiful flowing river for swimming, fishing, canoeing. Nice open air pavilion with power, LED lighting and a large picnic table. New for 2026 is the full custom bathroom! (Toilet, Sink and Hot Shower!) We think you'll love it! There's a firepit, (firewood provided free) with a nice pergola (porch swings too!) There is also a camp style grill for cooking right at the rivers edge. Dedicated hammocking area overlooking the river, or have some friendly competition with a game of Bag-O game (boards provided). This area offers a wide open space for exercising, walking/bike riding along a country road, or just relaxing by the riverbank. Want a little more adventure? This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV or Jeep, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This quaint little spot has a lot to offer!

We are also located near the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails, and guests can ride directly to the trails from their RV site. Local rental companies are available for anyone not wanting to bring their own ATVs. There is plenty of overflow parking for trailers for those that do bring their own on the property as well.

A beautiful and simple get away tucked in below Poteau Mountain near Hartford AR. Spend all day on the miles of ATV trails that litter the mountain. Keep going if you please. It’s 1.8 Million acres of wilderness made just for you! A true hunters paradise teeming with deer and other wildlife. The national forest is also accessible via Roger’s Pass and an easement. Bring your ATVs!If you like spectacular sunrises then this is the place for you. Just pray you have enough disk space on your camera! The Legendary Talimena Byway is just a few miles down the road; a 54 mile winding wonderland across the backs of the mighty Winding Stair and Ridge Mountains with dozens of pull-offs and vistas that are a feast for the senses. Really lovely land with all the amenities. Tonya was very responsive to questions and made sure I felt welcomed and had what I needed to have a nice easy stay. I booked my stay there at the last minute, as an unplanned detour after several days of mechanical emergencies, and it was such a relief to be in a beautiful bit of nature with all of my RV needs taken care of.

This one’s a gem. Your host has created the most beautiful, serene camp environments we’ve ever experienced and we camp a LOT. From the 10 acre, sole occupant site on the river with a brand new bath house to thoughtful amenities like the mini fridge in the pergola, you’ll be spoiled for anything else! My fiance and I found this private paradise on a river 🤗 it was perfect!!! 💓
Tent site plenty of room for alot of tents 2 rv/camper hookups. New bathroom installed (shower not completed yet). Perfect for solo, couples, families and friends gathering. All private one booking. Had small fridge and cook burner, and firewood provided and kayaks and a small boat to rent cheap.
Loved the deck with kitchenette and picnic table and the arched fireplace area with swinging benches and chair.
So relaxing!! I stayed up very late and was up very early swinging next to firepit, looking at the stars listening to crickets and water flowing, firepit and the morning birds chirping, water flowing and faint rooster call in distance.
Very nice host came by to check in about an hour after we arrived. Will def be back.
Didn't catch any fish. So relaxing under the stars listening to the river flow. Neighbors up the road with chickens u can see from a distance free range. Def recommend!

Weekend Trip to End of the Trail
We were really hoping this place was as described and it 100% was. Structure fit a queen air bed and belongings with no problem. Much more open grassy parking area than we expected, plenty of room to spread out. Only got rained on for about an hour the first day but it definitely seemed like you could wait out a rainstorm in the shelter and keep dry, we kinda wished it stormed more just to experience it. For people who like private and primitive camping without really having to worry about the weather this place is perfect. River wasn’t very deep when we were there (late march) and the smooth slick river rock makes for tricky wading; but we caught several nice bass and a load of brim out of the kayak and from the bank right by the shelter. 10/10 recommend, already booked a return trip.

As always, the campgrounds were absolutely perfect! This was our third trip to Sacred Pines—and our longest tent camping stay yet at five days—and we truly never ran out of things to do.
It was a bit hotter than expected, but the large shaded pavilion was such a blessing in the late afternoons and gave us the perfect place to relax and cool off. Our entire group had an amazing time enjoying all the amenities, from kayaking and the zip line to exploring the brook nearby. We also loved having games like ladder ball and cornhole ready for us—everything was thoughtfully provided by the owners and made our stay even more fun and effortless.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had an amazing stay here! The entire place was so peaceful and relaxing—exactly what we needed. The creek right behind our site was such a highlight; it was calm, beautiful, and our kids and dogs absolutely loved playing and exploring there.
We made a full day of it—explored the Ouachita forest in an SxS we rented from DLR Off-Road Rentals, then grabbed lunch at Big Fork Mall and treated ourselves to ice cream nachos after. It made for the perfect adventure-filled day.
Everything about this spot made it easy to unwind and enjoy time together as a family. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family!
