We are a 400 plus acre working family ranch raising Registered Texas Longhorns. We offer homegrown steaks and hamburger for purchase during your stay. In season we offer homegrown fresh vegetables you can purchase to go with your steaks- your welcome to even pick your own. If fresh vegetables are not in season we do have a selection of salsas, jellies, and pickles made on the ranch. There are three ponds for fishing, lots of wildlife including nesting baldeagles. Bring sturdy enclosed shoes for hiking. Bring your canine friend, they will have a vacation of a lifetime. Pawhuska is only 13 miles away, if you want to let someone else cook your dinner. My hip camper site is named after my daddy, I am still a daddy‘s girl. The land originated before Sequoyah. who created the Cherokee syllabary. Loved staying at Grandma's Tiny House. It was nice and cozy for two. The pull-out was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were perfect. We took a large sleeping bag and that combined with the small heater and comforter that was provided were perfect. The grill worker out nicely and the steaks and sweet potatoes were delicious. We will be back. Btw feeding the longhorns was amazing. 🫶

Sam is a wonderfully accommodating host. A few yellow jackets had slipped into where we were originally going to stay and kept landing on me. As someone who is deadly allergic, I was not comfortable staying there. We contacted Sam and he was very apologetic, offering to reimburse us completely if we needed to find somewhere else to stay, or move us to a different cabin in his camp. We took him up on the latter option. Since where we were moving from cost more money than where we ended up (the Writers Cabin), he reimbursed us the difference in cost. He got the cabin ready for us, and lit us a fire in the fire pit outside the cabin that we enjoyed relaxing by.

Creek side cabin was perfect for us! Wonderful community, secluded cabin, and friendly people and animals. Hailey was kind enough to spend the morning with us and share some amazing cacao while we meditated. Highly recommend!

We had a great time here. Beautiful land and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and great kitchen set up with induction stove and convection countertop oven. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything from board games to laundry soap. The hosts John and Ginny are nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when we can stay longer.

We had a relaxing time at Sundance. The lake access is close and the amenities are as described. The positives: lake is nice and close to the tiny houses, we had good access to a couple lake side beaches, the hosts are communicative, and the tiny house village is very quaint and cozy. The negatives: If you’re coming on the 4th of July, despite the no fireworks policy for this property, the surrounding neighbors are pyromaniacs, The grill bottom we had was rusted out and we had to find a portable charcoal grill to cook our food, and we didn’t have any privacy shades on our tiny home. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would stay here again.

The directions were clear. We met Sam in the morning at Main St Cafe. He was great! The place is very special. Sam has a vision and it’s unfolding. Be nice if the dust and cobwebs were wiped off the surfaces you want to put your things on but it is a lovely vibe. We stayed in the Homestead Cabin. The smell of earth and wood was wonderful and impressive to see his creativity.

This was truly a unique stay and I recommend it, especially if you like to get to know the local vibe. Sam is a great host and will do his best to accommodate you if you should happen to need anything. The basics are all there though, and while it’s certainly not a 5-star hotel, it’s *definitely* an upgrade from tent camping! Sam is a real character, a visionary artist with a wealth of knowledge about the town of Erick’s history, as well as where to find good fishing holes! Highly recommend!
