Located roughly 20 miles from Beaver Creek State Park, DLR Mustang Ranch is a 17-acre peaceful sanctuary for many wild and previously wild mustangs. The Ranch offers veteran and first responder mustang programs year-round. Please let us know if you are a veteran or first responder for a special rate.
Accommodations include a small one-room cabin nestled on a little pond a stone's throw from the main house and veteran program area. The cabin has electricity, a microwave, small refrigerator, tv, futon, heating and cooling; however, it does not have plumbing. Nearby is an outhouse with electricity and a water pump fed from well water. There is a firepit for cooking and picnic tables available. There is also a flat space for tent camping right beside the cabin area. The outhouse and firepit are shared between the cabin and tent campers. If you prefer a more secluded experience, please book both sites. There is space for an RV in the driveway next to the woods with electric hookup and access to the outhouse, water pump, and firepit.
While this is a working ranch with farm animals, our aim is to create a peaceful relaxing environment in order to unwind and enjoy the creation around us. Going in the pastures with horses while unaccompanied by the owners is prohibited; however, it can be arranged for you to meet and interact with the mustangs if interested. There are other farm animals including a sheep, a goat, pigs, donkeys, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks and barn cats on the premises. If you want a quaint country escape complete with farm sounds, this is the spot for you!

Welcome to Our family farm of 170 acre ! We are two sisters with our husbands and children want to share with you our peaceful farm. Surrounded by Hills, Creeks, Woods, and Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets! We are settled in the Hills of White Eyes Township. There is lots of history of Native Americans, and the first settlers in this area ( there is a great outdoor play based on a true story called Trumpet in the Land about 30 min from our location) On our farm you may still be able to find arrow heads in the creek bottoms! There is lots of wildlife that may wander through your camp site. The air is full of fresh Country smells. Some tame animals that you will see are Lowline cows ( miniature cows), Chickens, Pigs, Miniature Donkeys, Dogs, Cats.
North of us 20 minutes you will find Sugarcreek ( the little Switzerland ) as well as south east of us Coshocton with canoeing and biking trails as well as Roscoe Village.

Weekend Trip to DLR Mustang Ranch
Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I stayed the weekend to explore the area for our final trip for the year. The cabin was so cozy,we did have our air mattress with us just incase I was unable to sleep on the futon but was surprisingly comfortable. We were exploring most of the time but getting to see and pet the horses was amazing. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We loved staying at the cabin. It was well furnished and had an amazing view. We had a great time interacting with the farm animals, specially the horses and the cats. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We are definitely going back for another stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a farm stay.

I don't know where to begin. This has been an incredible experience from the moment I got here. Dale and Renee are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Renee goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. I fell in love with Buddy, the donkey. All of the animals from the handsome Fred the turkey to Pumpkin the cat are soo soo sweet. The horses are beautiful. I sat on the porch of the cabin and watched them across the pond. I even got a visit from 2 horses asking for treats. It was amazing!!! I can NOT recommend this place enough. It is peaceful, quaint, and feels like home away from home. I will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!!!!

I got to spend my holiday weekend at the cabin on Renee's beautiful land and ending up wishing I had booked a longer stay ...it was just the space I needed. Solo female traveler approved and amazing value for a cabin that includes so much to make your stay a comfortable one. Parking so close I had no trouble lugging my gear in. Cell phone reception was excellent (I have T-Mobile and never had an issue, though wifi is available if preferred). Super easy to find ...I Google Mapped it from the address provided and found it with absolutely no issues.
It truly is a peaceful, healing space managed by the most kind, generous hosts. I spent so much time just sitting on the porch looking across the pond (which currently has a small fountain running beautiful water sounds 24/7) and taking in the view of these beautiful horses grazing back and forth, some even coming right up to the railing for treats stored just for them on the porch. It's surprisingly quiet considering it's a working farm. The hosts leave you at peace when you need your space, and there's not a lot of traffic on the small country road that runs past the place.
I'm so glad I found this place and can't wait to come back and spend more time here.

This was exactly the getaway my husband and I were looking for. Being surrounded by beautiful mustangs and the quiet of the ranch was just what we needed! Renee and Dale were so inviting and very helpful. Both my husband and I learned a ton about Mustangs both at the Ranch and in the wild. We loved Ranger greeting us every morning and multiple times a day. I especially loved the time I was able to spend with Bella the partially blind paint. She was absolutely the sweetest. Looking forward to making plans to come back in the fall!

This place is truly a hidden gem—I can’t wait to come back! Renee was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. We were greeted by a wealth of animals both domestic and wild, yet the ambiance was incredibly peaceful. What set this place apart from all the others was the host, Renee, and her family. They were warm, inviting and gracious. The story behind the mission of their ranch for both the Mustangs and Veterans is honorable and is a reflection of the family you will meet. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed this stay! It was our first time using the Hipcamp app and the description was spot on! We happened to be the only campers at the time and that was great! The owners sons came and took my grandson crawdad and minnow "fishing" in the creek! We were given a tour of the animals and was able to feed the cows. The use of the pavillion was great because we had rainy days! The hosts were very accommodating, the scenery and sounds of nature were soothing! We ❤️ this spot!

Weekend Trip to Pleasant Valley Farm Camp
Hosted a craft camp recently with 10 women and had a wonderful time at the farm. Shelia and her family were very open to communication throughout the booking process and during the stay.
We had cold weather and she was incredibly efficient with our requests for more wood and questions about the hot water (which worked well throughout our stay).
Grateful for wagons to use for unpacking and packing and a clean porta potty throughout the weekend.
The property is as advertised with exceptional service. The cinnamon rolls are a must have!

Weekend Trip to Pleasant Valley Farm Camp
We love camping at this spot! The area is always clean and accessible. The communal pavilion with running water is a huge plus. There is a Porta Potty which is always in great shape. The hosts are super responsive and kind-they were great when we needed to purchase some extra firewood. There is a grate so you can cook over the campfire. There are TONS of great hiking trails, a pretty stream, and farm animals. We also love this spot because it is right down the road from Wooly Pig Brewery and a great little market called McKenna's Farm Market.
