Weekend Trip to The Viking Longhall
This property is a magical sanctuary â like stepping out of time into another dimension. We stayed in the cottage, nestled right by the creek, and it was peaceful and truly restorative. David was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself was a work of art, thoughtfully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. My only regret is that we didnât stay longer! Weâre already looking forward to our next visit. If youâre looking to unplug and reconnect with what truly matters, this is your place!

It's absolutely gorgeous out there - perfectly peaceful and enough to do at camp to keep busy. David was an amazing host - always had fresh coffee for us and a morning chat. Gave lots of great local suggestions! The yurt is very comfortable - it rained every single night and we stayed nice and dry. We really enjoyed the property and the longhall. David was great! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We were cozy inside even on the coldest night. Thank You David for your hospitality and making this space available. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their stay.

We loved camping at the Longhall. David was an excellent host. Our guild had a total of about 14 ppl visiting. Everything was super comfy. Stayed warm with the heaters in under 32 degree weather, had electric with the generator. Kitchen area was well stocked. It was all the little things that made the place amazing. Like finding easter eggs until the moment we left. We played DnD, shot archery and practiced fencing. It was a great time. We definitely intend on coming back.

We had a great time at the Longhall this weekend. It was cold all weekend, but we kept the heaters in the lodge running and we were nice and cozy during our whole trip. David kept an eye out on us and did a great job making sure we were comfortable during our whole trip. We are looking forward to going back again soon.
