Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods. What an amazing spot & amazing time. Robert & Maria do such an awesome time taking care of the spot, it really is an oasis in Bellefontaine, even the bathroom situation is spotless. I 100% recommend! I went solo this time, but I'll definitely be back with my kids! This was such a cute spot! We loved how secluded it was. Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of cicadas and rain on the roof. We only had one night but might be back to try farming for a day or a tractor ride as advertised on their website!

Beautiful property and very accommodating hosts! Cabin was warm and cozy, loved the extra touches of firewood, candles, etc. Porta-potty was super clean. The perfect place to getaway and recharge.

The Glamping Hilltop Hideaway is spectacular! Kimberly made sure everything was ready when I rolled up, and even offered to ride me up here on the Gator. The tent was perfect: great size, beds, on a raised solar lit deck, with outdoor furniture and a camping toilet to boot. If you are looking for a secluded getaway, and don't mind a walk, this is a great place.

If you’re looking for a relaxing and unique Hipcamp experience this is the place. The cabin is so cozy. The front porch is a perfect location to relax and read a book. They offer 30 and 50 amp hookups. The grounds were meticulously maintained. I will most certainly book again!
