We recommend renting one of our golf carts to explore the many miles of backcountry mountain roads with ,it is the best way to get out and sightsee and explore the area during your stay , we do offer these adventures separately to anyone looking to take a ride not just our guest. Or you could bring your own atv and pay a $30 day riding fee , ride as much as you want. Message us to schedule a ride. This cabin is very remote and private. It offers beautiful scenery, an amazing deck view of the mountain side ,Wi-Fi, a 4 person hot tub, modern kitchen and bath, very comfortable couch and love seat, a queen sized bed, Wi-Fi and 60inch smart tv located in the living room above the fire place and one in the bedroom. we also offer other spacious and modern cabins and primitive tent camping sites. Twelve34 House is a modern, midcentury-inspired cabin that offers luxury amenities for the person looking to elevate their vacation. The glass wall opens the indoor chef's kitchen to the outdoor kitchen with gas grill, beverage fridge, and pizza oven on the back deck. Comfortable seating and a tabletop firepit complement the covered area that overlooks the forest and ravine. The butterfly shape of the house offers bedroom suites in both wings, complete with spacious designer baths and king beds with organic bamboo linens and expansive views to the forest just outside the 12 feet sliding doors to the back deck. Bathrooms offer organic Turkish bath towels and organic body products. Just 5 minutes to necessities (like pizza) and 10-20 minutes to all the outdoor adventures Hocking County Ohio offers. The modern, yet cozy, Carpenter's Cabin has a small footprint of 934sf but explodes with over 1700sf of interior living space over four floors and another 600sf is available on the three decks.  The cabin boasts two owner's bedrooms, two bunk rooms, and one alcove bed in the library to sleep up to eight adults and twelve total guests.  Three full baths round out the private spaces.  There are two media rooms - The Conversation Pit on the main floor and in the lower level walkout. We had the best time at Esther’s camp! It had everything you needed and more. We loved the pond and hot tub. There was a problem with the hot tub before we arrived and Esther was quick to let us know and offered reimbursement. Much appreciated ☺️ The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner kept it nice and cool. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting around the fire at night listening to the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back if ever in Ohio again.

The drive up to the cabin was a bit tricky. I was a little worried the first time up the hill in the car. But let me tell you, once we were up the hill, it was our little place of solitude for the week. The pond was my daughter’s favorite! So many frog and toad sounds at night. So fun. Fire pit and hot tub were also a huge bonus. The bed was very nice, we didn’t attempt to raise it at all; we just left it for our trip but it was the perfect little cabin for us. Esther was extremely attentive with anything I needed during our stay or any questions I had. Brent even surprised us with some fire wood one day. They were very thoughtful! We would absolutely stay again!

Weekend Trip to EJT Retreat
We took a mother/daughter trip for our stay. We had the most amazing time! The pond for swimming is perfect with the deck to hang out and cool off during the hot day. At night we got in the hot tub and had a nice fire for s'more. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the 4 of us. They provided so many extra items like camping chairs, towels fire starters, bug spray, sunblock, and many more things. The drive way was a little crazy getting up in my mini van but with a running start it was fine. We was laughing so much about the adventure of getting up it. I would definitely want to drive my truck with 4 wheel drive in the winter to get to it. We are planning our next trip already to go back. We will also be taking our kids there for a weekend adventure. Thank you all so much for a great place to stay and make memories!

Esther’s land was beautiful and super peaceful. Hot tub and pond was great and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we need. There was a weird noise that sounded like a knock, but I inspected and nobody was there. Unsure about it but I read a couple other reviews that said the same thing. Still, it didn’t detract from the awesome time me and my wife had!! Esther was super sweet to refund us a night as well because we decided to head home early. 10/10 we will definitely stay again.

About a 40min drive from Hocking Hills Sate Park it was quiet peaceful retreat. The swimming pond, much more a pond than a pool but we all jumped in and had a blast. Not safe for toddlers because it has no gate. New hot tube was clean and hot, we really enjoyed it after a long day hiking. The cabin is still a little bit of a work in progress but had everything we needed (Except for firewood, but start driving a little and you’ll find someone selling it on the side of the road). A few bugs in the cabin but your in nature, to be expected. Overall great price, just what we were looking for, we’d come back.

Peaaceful, trees and sunlight, 10 different bird species singing in the morning 🐦‍⬛🤓; easy to find location definitely off the beaten path up some dirt roads. Cabin was clean on bed was very comfortable. There are trails on the land that are meant for ATVs, which I didn’t use, but I walked on them with my dog and the solitude was great William was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. New private hot tub. I didn’t get a chance to get in it to tired from traveling. The area is gorgeous. If you have not been just riding through the countryside hills was serene.
