We welcome you to enjoy the tranquility of our peaceful, wooded 5-acre retreat along the Little Miami State and National Scenic River. Located in Warren County, “Ohio’s largest playground,” we are just 3 miles upriver from the quaint river town of Morrow, Ohio, and 2 minutes from the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail.
We offer secluded natural primitive camping, the way nature intended it to be. Fall asleep to the sounds of river rapids and hooting owls, then wake up refreshed and rejuvenated under century-old sycamore trees. Our spacious campsites give you access to your private river frontage and our 5 acres of wooded trails for campers to explore. Our property offers the perfect blend of tranquil waterside camping and forest adventure while maintaining easy access to local amenities.
Our camping mission is to connect our guests with the river and nature in a respectful, sustainable way. “Enjoy the wildlife, don’t become it.” We’re not a party destination, but rather a sanctuary for nature and for campers who appreciate the quiet beauty of a riverside camping experience.
What We Offer
We provide four primitive camping sites on the banks of the Little Miami River, with two primitive camping cabins coming soon. Guests have access to 5 of our 11 acres of peaceful woods with walking trails to explore. Each site accommodates up to 6-8 guests, two leashed dogs, and three vehicles. Portable toilet facilities are available on-site, and we maintain a quiet, generator-free environment for authentic outdoor experiences. Our land is a prime location for fishing, tubing, swimming, and river activities, situated just minutes from Lebanon and Morrow.

Primitive camping with trails, and a creek. Located at the end of E John’s St. In Blanchester Ohio. Very peaceful, and beautiful. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping, but feels like you are out in the wilderness. You must bring your own camp toilet, this is very primitive. It is not uncommon to see natural wildlife such as deer, squirrel, and raccoon. Fishing is permitted (largest one caught was 6”). Responsible fire welcome, firewood can be purchased on site. Several hiking trails on site.

My family had a great time camper camping at Fancy Farm Wife Mercantile. We loved the goats that came out to say hello in the evenings while we enjoyed the campfire. We were able to say hi to some beautiful cows as well! Plus the chickens just pecking around being funny. We took some walks and bike rides down the pretty country road. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

Quite peaceful location! Pretty easy to get to, just a titch off the highway. The turn around spot they put in is gratefully appreciated for larger rigs so didn’t have to worry about backing in off a road front! The host & hostess could not have been nicer and were so welcoming! Wish I’d have had time to chat with them more.
