1 night at Towpath Trail Peace Park
Very knowledgeable and passionate host who has done his homework on the history of the area. Trail is a steps. Wish we had more time to spend there to fully enjoy the area.

Clean campsite, the grass is mowed nicely. The fire pits are clean and the tow path is within view of the campsites. Joe was super friendly and told us the history of the property and surrounding town. The portable bathroom needs some work and in my opinion needs to be cleaned more often. Other than that nice stay for the night! Thanks Joe!

Great site with a lot of history. It’s not every night you get to camp inside the Erie canal. Joe met me as I was setting up and gave me a history lesson on the area. I wish I’d had more time to spend learning about the region. The site is well situated and easy to find. Nighttime trucks on the County Road and a couple of trains might disrupt your sleep. But it’s worth it to stay in this unique location.

Joe was really friendly and full of stories and his sites were nice. We chose the site furthest for more privacy and it was really cozy with logs to sit on, a fire pit and a good amount of space for the family tents

I appreciated Joe’s friendliness! It was nice to have a porter potty to use the restroom and a solar powered place to charge cellphones. I like the accessibility to the trail and Joe’s knowledge of the native Americans.

Joe is very friendly host. Great local historian. The property sits close to a road and a railroad but neither bothered me. I see why he offers free ear plugs for light sleepers. His location in relation to the trail can’t be beat.

Awesome spot right off the tow path. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy it but after several delays I ended up getting there after dark and had to leave asap the next morning. Being 105 miles by bike from my start was a big plus for me.
Next time I pass through I'll hang around haha.

Nice property, right off of the towpath. I did an overnighter on my bike, this place was perfect for that. It's a short ride into town for restaurants. Also Joe was super nice, very knowledgeable about history of the local area and his property specifically.

Joe was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas history, which was very interesting to learn about. The campsite was well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. Campsites are extremely close to towpath access (basically next to it) and close by to the river so you do not have to go far for outdoor recreation. Will be back soon!
