Weekend Trip to Geode Nature Domes
I had a lot of fun on this trip! The dome was nice and comfy even though there were a bit of ladybugs inside seeking warmth I assume. I didn’t mind either way because being in nature comes with the bugs. speaking of warmth, the heater kept us warm throughout the night even overheating us at points until we realized there was a temperature set on it. I’m very glad that accommodation was there for the cold. I do suggest getting there before it starts getting dark so you can get a fire going for light when nighttime comes. Even though the bathroom is a bit of walk (as expected with camping), it was a very nice bathroom and well kept. Definitely bring some flashlights or have your phone with you for light because there isn’t too much lighting provided outside except for some lamps and ground lights here and there along the trail to the dome. The area around the dome and the dome itself felt very private and secluded so it really made you feel immersed in nature. I saw some reviews saying all they heard were cars because it is next to a road, but the dome is up in the hills so there were barely cars driving by and I didn’t notice them. I also saw reviews saying the dome in right next to the owners home and it didn’t feel private. Even though I saw the home in the distance, They have fences built around the dome to ensure campers’ privacy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and suggest it for anyone looking for a getaway. One night was a relief from our unnaturally busy lives!

This was a really peaceful and chill experience. We came out to get away from the city and it was a perfect little retreat. The stay was well accommodated and the dome tent was such a fresh and easy way to camp. Even though it rained, we stayed dry and the next day was lovely enough to enjoy some of the great natural hikes in the area.

1 night at Geode Nature Domes
Best hipcamp I’ve stayed in by far! Marci has created such a calm and tranquil space that provides the best parts of camping (wildlife, nature sounds, fire pit) with enough amenities for total comfort. I felt very safe camping alone at the site and am grateful that Marci accommodated a same-day stay. I will definitely be back! If you’re looking for a good local hike, I recommend Lookout Trail at Buzzards Roost.

Weekend Trip to Geo-dome Glamping
My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay at Susan's glamping geo-dome. It was very charming and just as described. It was an easy hike from the parking to the campsite and we really appreciated the wagons to haul the supplies we brought. The coffee and eggs were a nice touch. The site was private and had beautiful views. We stayed two nights. I'd definitely return for another stay!

We had a great time on our stay to celebrate a night away from the kids for my husband's birthday. From the late night s'mores to the early morning fresh farm eggs we enjoyed the ambiance of camping with modern comfort. The air conditioned dome was great for an uncharacteristically hot September night and we enjoyed a quiet night away from the kids under the stars.

Very sweet and accommodating hostess. Nice bathrooms and fun greenhouse shower. The Geo Domes feel safe and is a fun glamping experience. You have to experience this diamond in the ruff small town. America at its finest way of life! Great Recreational Cannabis Dispensary nearby called Ascend in Carroll, OH. Hip downtown historical scene in Lancaster. Experience the healing sacred lands and spacious dome equipped with features.

2 nights at Geo-dome Glamping
My husband and I have taken our 3 young kids tent camping several times before. Our kids are 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 years old and there is always so much to pack! We came to the geo dome for our 7th year anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by how much thought Susan and Jeff put into making this the perfect place for a getaway! We took are motorcycle so we had to pack light, and when we arrived we had everything we needed as far as utensils, plates, potholders, etc go! They even provided a griddle and spices. The property was beautiful and quiet! Definitely will be back again!

We loved the Dome! The bed was so comfy, we slept great! The greenhouse shower was fantastic. Plenty of hot water. It was perfect for a quick getaway. Our only challenge was getting our things up the hill. My husband and I are older, and it was tricky. Other than that, we had a great time and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time staying in a dome and they have everything you need (except maybe take a cooler with ice for drinks) bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire.... Caleb (10yr old son) Loved feeding and watching the pigs, he slept on one of the cats and said it was super comfy . We truly enjoyed the savory, cheese, fruit and bread tray with clear instructions on how to prepare it (SO DELICIOUS 😋). We will definitely stay again it in the area !! Thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing you place with us !!

1 night at Geo-dome Glamping
We had such a fantastic experience! The dome was very comfortable. There were four of us, and the kids stayed on the supplied cots.
We were enamored with the sweet piglets that accompanied their mama. They were very entertaining neighbors. We spent the evening cooking hot dogs and s’mores over the fire while playing the cards and board games provided. I think we found a new favorite game in the Happy Salmon. We ended our night star gazing in the small open field just beyond the campsite.
The eggs and coffee for the next morning were such a nice treat. Our family has already decided that we want to make this an annual trip!

This made for a wonderful stay during our visit to Hocking Hills! The instructions from Marci were clear, and everything was easy to find and use. The new outdoor shower was refreshing and added to the overall experience, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The temperature in the dome was perfect, but there was a fan and a space heater provided, along with a mini fridge that came in handy. Some of the outdoor lights weren't working (or just not charged enough by the sun), but the pathway had lights that assisted in walking in the dark. Though this location is about 40 minutes away from most Hocking Hills activities, it was a reasonable price, and away from all the busyness of tourists. Chillicothe was a cute town to explore and had great eats!

Jeff and Susan are the best hosts! I spent two nights at the dome with my kids and I felt very safe, very comfortable, and the farm could not be cuter. A lot of love goes into this property and it shows! Slate Run is across the street and the Living Farm is perfect for an outing with kids.
The dome has most everything you could need, it’s very clean and very comfortable. I didn’t even have to ask, but Jeff and Susan offered for us to use their Pack n play, which was appreciated. That kindness and thoughtfulness was present throughout our visit and my kids made me promise to visit again! Highly recommend! Thanks, Jeff and Susan!
