GloryField Hospitality Farm is a 148 acre active farm and vacation destination. Enjoy your stay and the picturesque view of fields, cow pastures, and wetland pond. Spend your day fishing at the catch & release pond, hiking the 2 miles of mowed trails, you are 3 miles from the Ohio Erie Prairie Bike Trail head. Ask about helping with some of the farm chores. In the evening roast s'mores on a campfire, catch fireflies, or stargaze away from artificial light.
The farm is shared space with a variety of short term rental sites; however each site has over 100ft away from each other. The owner Kim also lives on the property in the barn with her 2 golden doodles Scooby & Trixie. GloryField is an active farm so there are also people, vehicles, and farm equipment that have access to the property. They are the only people allowed to drive beyond the driveway.
The nearest town of S. Charleston is 3 miles down the road and has a good grocery store, gas station, & dollar stores. Restaurants include Pizza/sub/salads, Chinese, Coffee shop, bakery, & Ice cream (unfortunately no delivery).

Private gated entrance onto our beautiful wooded campsite overlooking our creek from a large deck with a large stargazing bell tent fully furnished with a queen bed , bistro table and chairs ,coffee maker ,coffee and sugar, plates ,cups ,utensils . Outside on deck is a propane grill ,dining table for 4 ,accent lighting , shower area with cold and hot enclosed area,sink .stairs lead down to a fire pit ,hammock and across the campsite is the clean porta potty fully lit at night as is the shower area,Creek could be used for small mouth bass fishing ( Ohio fishing license)or swimming when water is up or floating around.Firewood is not provided .

This was such a cute spot! We loved how secluded it was. Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of cicadas and rain on the roof. We only had one night but might be back to try farming for a day or a tractor ride as advertised on their website!

Weekend Trip to Stargazer Glamping Campsite
Pretty easy to find. Not on a main road. Not too far from it. Locked gated entry. Surrounded by trees and a creek. Beautiful property. Lots of wildflowers. I took a nap in the hammock when I arrived and unpacked. More than one seating area. Big fire pit. Huge, Beautifully decorated tent. Pretty much everything you would need. Eating and cooking utensils. Towels. I didnt get to use the pretty outdoor shower it was just too cold. Got down to 48. Site says heated but they didnt have a stove set up yet. Other than hearing the family playing across the creek there are no cons. I had a nice peaceful evening. I very much enjoyed my quiet time here at stargazer. Thank you 😊

Weekend Trip to GloryField Hospitality Farm
The Glamping Hilltop Hideaway is spectacular! Kimberly made sure everything was ready when I rolled up, and even offered to ride me up here on the Gator. The tent was perfect: great size, beds, on a raised solar lit deck, with outdoor furniture and a camping toilet to boot. If you are looking for a secluded getaway, and don't mind a walk, this is a great place.

Weekend Trip to GloryField Hospitality Farm
The tent and bathroom setup worked great for us! The shower is 1/2 mile from tent, right by the parking spot. We did not use it or look at it. Toilet is near tent. Super private tent and toilet set up The walk isn't bad and you can use her barn wagon to haul your things if you aren't trying to keep your stuff super clean....worked for us! The friendly host met us upon arrival and told us where to go, super communicable and available if you should need any help. The fishing pond is incredible- you will likely catch smaller large mouth bass but also a couple other types. We caught 10 fish in 2.5 hrs, fishing in the evening and around 10am. Our son had a blast. Even on a cold night, the tent on the hill was suprisingly warm, so I'd rather stay here in milder weather since I'm hot natured. Bring bug spray for ticks if you plan on walking around a lot. Stay out of tall grasses. She gave us an extra bed and bedding for the three of us to sleep comfortable and that took up the whole tent. But our large dog could fit to sleep on the floor at the front entrance with tent zipped shut. There's board games, fire pit and tons of fire wood, grill, drinking water, and water for bathroom sink. Hope this helps someone to book here! Would stay again. Enjoy!
