Absolutely beautiful rolling hills and long range mountain views. Sunrises and sunsets were picture perfect. The hosts were very nice and the site was well maintained. We enjoyed Grayson Highlands nearby and the morning walk around the property to the ruins and pine forest. What a gem close to downtown Sparta and other awesome attractions. Had a nice dinner after a long hike at Red Dog restaurant about 8 minutes away from camp site.

My wife and I spent 4 nights in our 25 ft travel trailer. It was very quiet and peaceful and was pretty much by ourselves. We camped there during the week. If you camp with a travel trailer, park parallel to the creek where it is level, easy in and out. There is a steep incline when entering and leaving, having the weight of the trailer behind you, you may would need 4 wheel drive to get up the gravel driveway, we did, no problem. Very nice winery in Mt Airy, be sure to stop at the first large produce stand in Cana on Hwy 52, they have produce and food there that you don’t see in grocery store. Jodee was very accommodating and we look forward to staying there again in this beautiful part of Virginia.

Sparta, NC's best kept secret for RV'rs. You can stop in downtown for coffee/chocolate chip muffins or gourmet pizza slices then head on out from downtown Sparta for ten minutes to arrive hilltop to a premier location with full hookups, beautiful views, fire pits, and picnic tables. Check out some of the photos I've provided. It is unbelievably quiet and serene while you can watch the clouds breeze by. This is a minimum two night stay location but trust me, you need that much time to fully appreciate and recharge to face day to day life back home. Make your stay as soon as possible, you won't regret it.

This is an absolutely wonderful sight. There is a small rental cabin on one end of the property. At the other end, there is a lovely Safari tent style rental. Nestled between those two are three campsites available for RVs or tent camping. My family went tent camping in one of those sites. There is a potable water supply, and fully electric hook up at these three sites. Absolutely perfect for us. The creek running along all the sites is the icing on the cake. We took two or three walks up and down the creek in each direction, through the rocks in small rapids. The water is crystal clear and cold. The entire site is situated in what I could only call a glade, small valley. It feels incredibly secluded, like you're truly out in the wilderness, but with some modern amenities, like the hookups mentioned before, as well as a small laundry house, and a bathhouse at one corner of the property, with a toilet, and shower. My two daughters appreciated this most of all. LOL. Another thing that makes this site incredible is that, though you feel like you are in a remote area, as the crow flies, you are perhaps really only four miles or so from interstate 77.
Overall we loved our experience and have already told our family about it. We will be back.

Y’all! 11 out of 10! This place was amazing. My wife and I along with another couple stayed here with all of our kids (all four kids under 3 years old) in tents! This is the perfect spot that combines peaceful outdoors with convenient amenities. The kids (and adults) loved playing in the river, looking for fish and crawdads and loved running all over the property. The swing overlooking the river was a nice relaxing spot to chill out when the kids were worn out. Each site had electric and water along with a firepit and a grill. . The bathroom was wonderfully decorated, very clean and used high quality products. The outdoor shower was great and had an amazing view of the little river running below the camp sites (if you can see over the walls)! They even had a washer and dryer that was ideal when the kids got absolutely filthy while playing and eating. We’ve already been talking about going back again! Thank you for the amazing weekend.

Decided too late that we wanted to book a camping trip for Labor Day weekend. This was our first ever experience using Hipcamp so we were completely unsure of what to expect. Choosing Redeemers Ridge Retreat definitely met and exceed any expectations or reservations we may have had. Stayed on the Low Road site and it was amazing. Beautiful, peaceful and just what we needed to relax and unwind. While we did not do any of the hikes, they are there and we will make sure to do those next time. Such a breath of fresh air, to have this gorgeous view all to ourselves or what felt like it. If you are looking for calm, serenity, peace, quiet, breathtaking views and just a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is it!! Thank you Linda and John, we will be back!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this HipCamp! The sites were spacious and tucked right along the creek, which made for the most peaceful backdrop. Having water and electrical hookups on-site was such a convenience, and the fact that firewood was already stocked was a game-changer — one less thing to pack!
The bathrooms, showers, and even laundry facilities were all clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience feel both rustic and comfortable. The only minor drawback was that the hot water for the outdoor shower wasn’t working perfectly, but JoDee, the host, was super responsive and is waiting on a replacement water heater to fix it for future visits.
We loved exploring the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway during the day, then coming back to campfires and cozy nights by the creek. The property felt really well cared for, with thoughtful touches like a yurt site and easy creek access. It was the perfect home base for our weekend adventures — we’ll definitely be back!

Easy to find and right off the road. This campsite was beautiful! We spent most of our stay trout fishing and generally walking the creek, and our nights lulled to sleep with the sound soft the creek right outside our camper. Plenty of town options were close by if needed. The deer that frequent the property were fun to watch!

We absolutely loved our stay at Redeemer’s Ridge Resort. It is definitely a place to escape the outside world and just find peace and solitude. The views are spectacular and John & Linda are so sweet and very responsive to our needs and questions. We have already planned another stay in the fall. Without a doubt, the best site we have ever had camping!
