Neal Creek Primitive camping by the creek is located on private property. The two large campsites are approximately 300 feet apart and are located right beside the running creek. Plenty of shaded area's. We have a 6-8 person tent available to rent as well! Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. After years of looking all over the mountains for a river property we could call our own, our favorite spot on the river came up for sale. It just so happened it was nearly halfway between where we both grew up. After many sleepless nights worrying if we could succeed or not (it was much larger than properties we had been looking for), we bought it! Our favorite spot on the river was virtually inaccessible by any way other than floating. But after hundreds of hours of hard work, we think we have developed a place where others too can enjoy the things we do about the property. All of us absolutely loved TangleWood. We'll definitely stay again. The property was beautiful, safe, clean, quiet and VAST. Blair recommended a perfect site with privacy and the stream wrapping around it: Buckeye Bank. We had a tent, truck and and a small camper van. There was plenty of room. Driving in along the stream to our spot were a few other cool options for stays (mini homes, safari tents). The sites are well spread out and the pora-johns (about one per 2 sites) were immaculate. We went on 2 hikes on their enormous property. Our dogs played in the stream together right beside our campfire. The stars were magnificent. We'd love to come back again.

Rose Creek was a great spot on the creek, which included the perfect balance of seclusion and civilization. It was a great spot for my toddler and two dogs to explore. Thomas was a great host and had little odds and ends to make the trip easier, including a heated hose as temps dipped into the teens at night. Would definitely recommend and plan to come back!

This was a really awesome camp site, a lot of great views, good amenities, and great location. The actual sites are a bit close together but still spread out enough that you have you privacy, and there’s a lot of great views around the camp. They had running water which we used to refill our bottles, and the showers were really nice and got very hot. If you need wood, then the bundles they offer supply plenty for a long trip. The sites also were set up very smart with plenty of room for parking, a hook to hang up either food or a lantern, and a large container of water given to you for the fires. I would definitely come back here if I was in the area again.

Tellurian is a small quiet campground. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend with an incredible view of the surrounding mountains. The owners were friendly and available if needed. There is a bathhouse with a men's and women's bathrooms with showers. The campground is a short walk to the river...which in November is nice to see but I would think in the summer it is great for swimming. There was plenty of room for our dog to run...and did I mention the views?

You'll be staying on our farm, which is a working horseback riding and equine therapy facility as well as a sanctuary for many other animals (including mini cows, turkeys, chickens, a pig, alpacas, goats, and a llama!) We have one campsite on our 1.5 acre property. Located 2 miles from downtown Tryon, where you'll find restaurants and shops. The property is on the Pacolet River.
