The Oasis at Harmon Creek Farms

15 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents150 acres · Yadkinville, NC
Our new BATHHOUSE is now completely functional with toilet, sink and SHOWER!! 🛖 It is centrally located in front of the office at the pond. WE LOVE OUR CAMPERS! ❤ Please respect our land by not bringing firewood from off-site and burning it here. We are a working farm that allows camping, not a campground. Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. We offer firewood for sale from our farm (delivered to your site for no additional fee). You do NOT have to purchase it prior to your arrival, just let us know how much you will need so we will have it ready for you. Our new CAMP STORE offers firewood (delivered to your site!) , meats and eggs from our farm, Tallow & lard (both rendered right here!), drinks, Amish made ice cream and jams/jellies/preserves, hammocks, hammock chairs, smoked dog bones, soaps (made right here), rentals of: cast iron cookware, a tent, Coleman stove, fishing poles, ... and MUCH MORE! Please note that all our sites are reserved with a one vehicle limit. Some sites are large enough to accommodate additional vehicles but each additional vehicle will incur a $10 per night charge. Free parking for additional vehicles is located at the office/store. Check us out for your next camping experience. We promise we will do everything within our power to make it great! Two new nicely wooded sites with pond view are now available to provide easy access even during periods of heavy rain. One is already set up with a new shade tent so you don't even have to bring your own! 🏕 Looking for a camping experience with a little luxury to boot? Look no further than our Oasis at Harmon Creek Farms! You can drive right up to most sites, weather permitting. You will have access to a fire ring and picnic table (located at each site), firewood for sale on site (please do not bring firewood from off-site), clean well water (located near the pond), the creek to explore, our stocked pond to fish, and wooded trails to hike. Once roamed by Native Americans and now farmed by the same family for over 6 generations, Harmon Creek Farm is a working farm of over 150+ acres. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣 Our cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and geese are all eager to meet you, as are we! We currently have fresh eggs, pork and beef for sale on site as well. Like us on Facebook (Harmon Creek Farms of NC) for the latest on what's going on here at the farm. :)

Legacy Acres Cattle Farm

4 sites · Tents74 acres · Lawndale, NC
Legacy Acres is a 74 acre cattle ranch just ten minutes outside of South Mountain State Park in Casar, North Carolina. The land was used for crops and livestock since the early 1800’s and was passed down through the same family for 4 generations. It was sold to a new family in the 1990’s and many improvements were made, such as the creation of the large pond, additional livestock pastures, the barn and farmhouse. However, as the family members became elderly, farming became the too difficult and the land fell into disuse. In the spring of 2021, our family moved from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte city life to this place we now call our home. Our dream is to bring the land back to its original purpose of farming, and to raise our family here, living off the land and sharing that joy with others.  In the near future, we plan to add many more animals, such as chickens, horses, sheep and also various crops.  With this will also come improvements to the campsites such as toilets, paddle boats, picnic tables, and Wifi.  We look forward to sharing this special place with you. Learn more about this land:Set up your tent next to our 1.5-acre tree-lined pond on our working cattle farm, where beautiful rolling hills and rustic charm await you. We have four sites that can hold up to 6 guests each. Relax around the fire pit, make friends with our farm dog, look for native birds and other wildlife, watch the ducks swim by, or do some catch-and-release fishing. We can’t wait to share the natural beauty of this special place with you. The campsites are located on a 74-acre cattle ranch. Drinking water is provided from the well, and firewood is available to purchase. Also available to purchase or rent from the hosts are a hammock, folding table, and folding chairs. Pets are welcome, but please note that there are many animals on this property, including cows, donkeys, ducks, geese, finches, herons, hawks, deer, and foxes. Dogs must be on a leash. If you want to get out and explore, the waterfalls of South Mountain State Park are 15 minutes north. Groceries and gas can be found within 10 minutes in Polkville or Casar.

The Sacred Path

2 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Statesville, NC
This land was purchased by my parents over 55 years ago. At the time is was a 48 acre farm. It belonged to a bootlegger. I was just seven years old when we came to live here on the "farm" as I have called it all my life. It was loved by family until my fathers' passing 5 years ago. My husband Terry and I came back to the farm to be with my father in his final years. Terry and I have continued  loving and caring for the land. This property backs to a 200 acre nature reserve and 600 acres of natural forest. It has a 30 foot creekside overlook and a beachfront at the creek. The is lots of nature to be heard and seen. We have resident foxes, a blue heron that frequents the pond, egrets, kingfisher, a bobcat, raccoons, crows, birds, fireflies, and (bear were seen last fall). It is beautiful land with rolling hills and horses grazing in the pastures.Learn more about this land:Come and pitch your tent in our park like setting by the pond and springs. You will feel the sacred breeze kiss your face and you will be re-energized, your energy restored and re-charged. This is a very special and sacred ground, if you allow it, you will feel the energy shift the moment you step foot onto the grounds. we welcome you to come stay, relax and visit or just retreat into meditation. Sherri is an energy worker.
