It's a unique cozy loft style design, set back in the woods on our property. It's purposely placed next to a creek, with a nice stone fire ring to really enjoy the outdoors. In the cold months, it's heated by a wood burning stove. Also next to the house are logging roads that allow you to hike the Ripshin Mountains. The Yadkin River is near by, and so is Boone and Blowing Rock. We loved this sweet little treasure of a tree house. Had all kinds of plans upon arrival but never left not even for milk. The hot tub was spot on and the little welcoming gestures made it even better. Carie Ann takes wonderful care of this property. Would recommend to anyone who wants to just get away and relax.

We cannot believe our incredible good luck to have found this place. Christine and Ken cover everything - with so many thoughtful touches in every area to make our stay over the top. There is ample space for multiple tents with flat sandy/dirt as the base and boat-ramp access to the river. The large open kitchen area is beautiful and would hold many if it were raining. Our group was there for an annual get-together, and we’ve decided not to explore other locations or venues, looking forward to returning.

The tent and kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need and more. They gave us an in depth tour of the farm and flower patch and helped us take great photos. Another family was in the tent next door but there was no issue at all. A beautiful site and a great way to introduce my family to the outdoors.

This was our second year coming to Growing Faith Farms and this year was just as wonderful as the first! We were greeted by Joe and Tina upon entering the property and they took the time to lead us up to our site and show us everything, even though we had gotten there well after dark. The bell tent itself is AMAZING. The bed is super comfortable and the provided heater kept it cozy in there all day and night. One thing that keeps us coming back to Growing Faith Farms is the peace and quiet that you get to experience while still having modern conveniences such as running water, HOT water, and electricity. If you’re looking to enjoy beautiful views in a quiet setting without giving up all the comforts of home, Growing Faith Farms is the place to go!

What an amazing slice of paradise! Loved being nestled in the woods for 3 nights. We had everything we needed in the tiniest of homes on the most beautiful land. Communication was great with host and the pizza down the road was top notch. Loved every second of relaxing and just existing. So siked to have found this jewel and can’t wait to return!

Lake Norman

Less than 30 minutes from Mooresville lies Lake Norman, which holds the title for the biggest man-made lake in North Carolina at 32,510 acres. From swimming and fishing to jet ski rentals and chartered cruises, aquatic adventures are endless. Lake Norman also boasts a beer and wine trail map that lists local breweries and wineries dotting the area. Drive-in yurt camping near Lake Norman is another favorite option, and many of these campsites offer picnic tables, firewood, and drinking water.

Uwharrie National Forest

Covering 51,546 acres and sitting just over one hour east of Mooresville, Uwharrie National Forest offers horseback riding trails through the trees, hiking trails, mountain biking loops, and OHV trails. Camping options include pitch-your-own tent campgrounds, RV campsites, dispersed wilderness camping, and even horse-friendly campsites in select areas. There’s a 14-day limit on camping within a 30-day period.
