I have to say, I was coming to stay alone with my 4 yr old, and I was so scared and nervous on my way there. Im from South Florida, so this isnt normal roads to me. Anyways all the bad was going thru my head, I arrived all overwelmed exhausted, and anxious. As soon as I met Liz, I felt a weight off my chest, and I knew I would be fine. Tom and Liz were amazing, I felt like I was with my grandparents after a few days. <3 My little one was petting the horses everyday, she would go up to them freely. Amazing place to be surrounded by animals. I look forward to returning again.

My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway and we couldn't have found a better place. Sean is an amazing host and the property is a perfect retreat. The well maintained trails are perfect for exploring and an afternoon float on the lake was just what the doctor ordered! We are already planning our next visit with the kids!

We loved camping at Sean’s land! It’s beautiful and it was pretty quiet. Sean was really welcoming, he even gave us fresh eggs and marshmallows. We hope to come back soon!

The lake is beautiful and saw turtles, frogs and was a lovely walk around the entire lake. Unfortunately, I have dogs that scare easily and Scott’s dogs visit the camping area, so I did not stay. But the property was gorgeous and Scott was easy to communicate with and gave me fresh eggs when I arrived.

We loved our stay! We enjoyed watching the cows,horses graze in the field and the 2 donkeys calling out and chasing each other! The nights were quiet. The host are friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend staying here!

We have been RV camping for 21 years now and we just had the most amazing experience. The hosts are the most kind and caring people we have ever worked with. The sites were full, but they made us feel like we were the only ones there. My kids (and wife) loved being able to pet the donkeys and goats whenever they wanted to. What an awesome place to camp. They have a community fire pit with pre-split logs to use. This is a MUST experience. Thank you so much Michelle! You're amazing 🙌

Weekend Trip to Double L Farms RV Park, LLC

Pull through sites, easily accessible water, blank tank dump, and electric. The internet was FAST, Lisa and her husband were both very nice. Quick reply on Hipcamp to messages. The bathhouse was very clean as well. We just stayed for one night on our way through the state, but we enjoyed our stay. If we’re ever back through that area I would stay here again.

We loved tent camping on this farm, plenty of spacious beautiful land, appreciated the outlets, shower house, and fresh vegetable and seafood market. Gorgeous wooded trails nice for roughing it. Pavilion was much appreciated during stormy nights. Cool animals, nice to wake up with the chickens. Very friendly people, welcoming.

Lisa is a very nice and responsive host and her and her staff will make sure you are comfortable, however long your stay is. This Hipcamp is a small RV park itself with friendly people. Nestled along their beef farm where you can see cattle, horses and even a mini pony. I wish I went into their store which sells fresh beef, maybe next time I visit. The property is about 10 minutes away from Walmart, Lowes etc. in Lumberton. and numerous gas stations in between. I will probably be returning as I am a full RVer always on the move and I recommend folks to come stay at Lisa's property

The Pine Tree Retreat

Learn more about this land: 104 acres of private land for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. The property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw, 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. The road is gravel all the way to the camping area with signs for directions. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. Reserve your spot and experience the peace and quiet of the outdoors and listen to the turkeys and watch the deer feed in early mornings while the sun rises. We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago & enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.
