Appalachian Trail and waterfalls nearby. This house sits at the front of a private little eco-village, Dharma Village. It’s private, and there are no other houses visible around this rental home. It’s an old home — try as you might, you can’t get the old wood smell completely out — but it’s cozy and quiet. Your only neighbors are pygmy dwarf goats, who are far too busy escaping and causing chaos to care about the affairs of this house, which we call Casa Verde. Much work has been put into this old home, though the porches still need upgrades, and adding a second bathroom is our next goal. It’s just a quick Uber drive to all the fun in Knoxville — 3.2 miles from the Tennessee Theatre. Parking is off-road and abundant, and there’s a fenced-in backyard for pets. A hot tub is on the way, and you can plug in on the property with permission from the owner. We strive to bring affordability and peace into others’ lives and hope it returns to us here in these lovely woods, a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains. Weekend Trip to Treehouse Hollow and Cabin Rentals

Excellent. 10/10. The house is clean and very well maintained. It’s super cozy. Hot tub worked great, blankets available for hanging outside. Stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. Right on the water on fairly flat land. Had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again. Host is friendly and super responsive. Can’t wait to visit again as Franklin is an excellent place for a short vacation. Great places to eat and shopping within a short distance. My only complaint is that the beds are small, hard to tell if they were fulls or queens. No King bed (which is what I’m used to). Also no full-length mirrors. But otherwise, we loved it and will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Treehouse Hollow and Cabin Rentals

Amazing little cabin! Very clean and well thought out design. My son and I stayed for the weekend and loved the rushing creek right from the huge back covered patio. We also really enjoyed the clean hot tub. There was plenty of seclusion and privacy even with renters in the treehouse next door. We will definitely stay here again!
