Family-friendly glamping near Kernersville

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend at Natalie’s place. As it happened, my father suddenly passed way the next day. I am grateful for the calm and peace we experienced that weekend in such a beautiful place.

My dog and I had the absolute best weekend at the “Love Shack” in Mystic Meadow. Wendy has created a woodland oasis with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is easy to find, but feels a thousand miles away from the daily grind. The cabin is perfect, thedeck was outfitted with chairs for relaxing, a swing near the creek, and the woody trails were full of fun treasures. And did I mention the fire pit? We enjoyed visiting the fluffy butts and the goats along the trail, listening to the creek as it bubbled along and watching fireflies from the deck and morning visits with deer. Wendy suggested a couple of places to visit locally, which had great trails and shopping options. We even visited a local drive in on Saturday night. There are lots of options near by for all kinds of entertainment. In fact I’m checking my calendar for another trip in the fall. I highly recommend booking a trip to mystic Meadows, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Wendy for a great weekend and being a terrific host. We really didn’t want to leave! .

Wow! We are so blessed to have found this beautiful site. We loved wandering and exploring the land, picking fresh blackberries, and saying hi to the animals (the donkey is our great friend!). Thank you Natalie & Darrel for being such awesome hosts - even though we arrived very late at night, we were given good instructions and left a lantern to find our lovely cabin. Hoping to come back and spend more time here, it is a true gem.

4 nights at Mystic Meadow Farm Glamping.

Wendy was a great host! Every little detail added up to a wonderful stay! Cute, comfortable, and dry (it rained a couple of evenings during our stay) A-frame provided privacy. The shower house was awesome and she even has walking trails! Come to the Mystic Meadow Love Shack, sit in the rocking chairs, and listen to the riffle of the minnow-filled brook and RELAX!

1 night at The Dancing Pig On Abbotts Creek

This place is a treasure! I booked pretty late in the day, and Natalie was so accommodating. Everything in and around the cabin was so thoughtful that the couple times I started to need something I realized they were 2 steps ahead of me. I absolutely loved the greenhouse! Bed was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the selection of books they had. Can’t wait to come back (and finish my book!)

Weekend Trip to Bear Creek Tee-Pee Retreat

I love the vibe of summer camp this little hidden gem gives. We were thankful to have the place to ourselves for our stay. Overall, I love the communal spaces, the 'bathroom' and the overall just stay. Definitely a bucket list checkoff.

We had a great time staying at the cabin! Natalie and Darrell were excellent hosts. The cabin was comfortable amd we were suprised at how well stocked it was! Having ice on site was so helpful to keep our coolers cold without having to go anywhere! We enjoyed lighting the woodstove on a chilly rainy afternoon. The view was wonderful- we loved visiting the animals- particularly the donkey and the pigs! We walked to the creek often to fish and go out on our canoe. This was our best vacation! We'd love to come back sometime.

I loved the time I spent on Wendys land, the view is beautiful, the nights are calm and relaxing, and they're a wonderful host! My partner and I enjoyed alot of time around the firepit, and hiking around the area.

My family loved the little cabin the owners were so helpful and kind we loved the animals we loved the donkey his name was Jack we had a party for my daughters birthday my family said that were coming back as soon as they can they loved the swing the best Natalie and her husband was so kind to us I will tell others where the place is at have a good day everyone and also the fishing was grand my daughter and I caught catfish that were biting good 👍

Camping in the little cabin on Natalie's land was awesome! We enjoyed the property and animals, and especially meeting our hosts. Had a great time on the little front porch and around the fire pit in front. Slept comfy and cozy in the loft as well. Couldn't recommend this place more, especially for the price!

Wonderful stay in the glamping teepee. The lawn games, blankets, bug spray (didn't need), chairs, water, snow cone supplies, & warm shower were much appreciated. Jodi was a lovely host and responsive. Our children had a blast and we will be back.

amazing! so close to town yet very secluded. The space was well taken care of and the whole place takes on a whole new vibe at night❤️ I am a lighting installation artist and the lighting at night was 10/10. The host was so very accommodating and answered all my questions (which was a lot). I will definitely be coming back! This space is a true gem. Thank you to the hosts for such a fantastic space and hospitality!

We loved staying in the little cabin! Peaceful and relaxing property with farm animals. My son and I had a great time kayaking, cooking outdoors and sitting by the fire at night. Definitely would plan another trip back! Darrel and Natalie were great hosts!
