The resort is currently in Phase One, a soft opening that offers guests a preview of what is to come. Now open is the resort’s beautiful new Clubhouse, which includes a welcoming reception area, coffee bar, single-serve wine and beer bar, and a well-stocked store offering RV and camping supplies, snacks, beverages, and souvenirs. Additional clubhouse features include restrooms, a laundry facility, area attraction information, customer service, a comfortable common lounge with a 70-inch television, a community bulletin board, and more.

If they fight with other animals or chase chickens or ducks you may want to test this upon your arrival. Unfortunately, you must keep them on leash at all times. SPECIAL FEATURE:
As I am just beginning the camp on site experience I offer several options and additional services.
#1. Some find out after arriving that I teach NC Concealed Carry Handgun Classes. If you wish to participate in a class, it is preferred that you register before the day of the class. I will post classes on this site so that campers will know there will be shooting in the late afternoon. Some chose to camp on other weekends, some choose to go out to eat during those times, and some don't mind either way.
#2. I am also much in favor of work for camp site. Some have asked to do clean up or other small jobs for the priviledge to camp. So far this has worked out well, with one exception. Please do not accept an offer to take on a task that you do not know how to do. Example, pulling weeds or trimming if you do not know what a weed verses flower looks like. LOL
#3. There is plenty of firewood, see photos, here laying around and some trees down that will make great firewood (bring your own cutting tools.) We also sell firewood by the bundle.
#4. Being a camper here gives you the privilege of fresh veggies and fruits that are in season, as well as fresh free range eggs.
MAJOR POINT:
You must remember this is a working farm and our duties and responsibilities for the farm come first.
You must abide by the boundaries. *see map* The creek is the back boundary and should never be crossed onto my neighbors. I will not tolerate any disrespect to my neighbors, what so ever.
No! the roosters don't have an off button, neither does the jacka... donkey! When it is hay cutting time, we will cut hay. If you want to hike the property, feel free, know the boundaries and bring a machete to cut your way by the creek/stream in some areas. We have thistle trees and briars, you are welcome to cut all you wish as you go. There are spiders, bugs, and snakes etc. Black snakes, king snakes, runners, and whip snakes belong here and we ask that you do not kill them. Copperheads are here as qell and if you see one, come get me and I will dispatch it for you.

Easy drive right to the campsite
There is plenty of soft sand to set up one tent or ten tents; large groups are welcome for an extra fee.
A Porta-Potty is available at the campsite.
Swimming is usually possible at the base of the falls; however, the weather can change conditions and make it unusable.
I should also add that this is not completely private. The camp is visible from a shared driveway, and my residence is up a hill that overlooks the area. Also, I do not own the land on the other side of the stream. Occasionally, the owners of that land will also end a weekend afternoon enjoying the waterfall view

Update on Fire ban: I spoke with the forest ranger of Yadkin County, and You ARE allowed SMALL campfires for cooking and heating purposes only. No bonfires. Charcoal and propane grills are OK too.

Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. I took my 4 year old granddaughter camping here at Amy’s Pecan Tree Farm, we stayed 2 nights and she didn’t want to leave. We hung a hammock up, we played with magnetic sand, she chased after the wild bunnies. She loved the outside string lights. I felt very safe. It was so peaceful! I will stay here again next time I’m passing through.

My friends came and set up their tent nearby. It was a quiet weekend, felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. And yet you’re close enough to Troutman if you want to go in for groceries or dinner. Or the nearby winery is a favorite place to go! Amy stopped by briefly just to welcome us! She was quick to communicate prior to the trip regarding any question I had. The rabbits and the birds kept us entertained all weekend.

The site was amazing and the only one allowing for great privacy. The site also has full hook ups, great water pressure and the star gazing was wonderful. Starlink had plenty of open sky to connect us to work with a 99.8% connection. We will absolutely be coming back while visiting family in the area.

We had a great stay at Cedar Grove Farm. Set up for couple nights. Nice fire pit area. The 4 cows were nice and quiet. And seemed to enjoy our presence. Sunsets were beautiful. The spot was just a little tricky to get in and out of but only because i didn’t want to get into the grass too much. Julie and Chad checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed
