Great place-looks just as in the photos. We pulled our campervan in, with all we needed to cook and sleep, and they had the bathroom and outdoor shower we needed. Small gas firepit to gather round with chairs. A picnic table to eat and play games or hang out at. Very close to Emerald Isle beach enjoyment, for driving, not walking. Wifi if you need it. And finally, the very welcoming hosts made it even better!

Great place and location. Close to the beach and everything you may need yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Site was easy to get in and out of. Kyle was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!

Kelly had a great space, very whimsical with plenty of room for a class B. Bathroom, shower, and fire pit with a bunch of seating, and a picnic table.
Hook ups also available for power and water. Host was very communicative and friendly. Even brought in some clothes we had hanging up to dry out in out of the rain. The entrance was a a little hidden, and tight to back into, but not a problem in a class B van.

I will absolutely stay here again! Kelly is very accommodating & super kind. We loved the outdoor shower / bathroom. The indoor bath house has a dehumidifier & it's perfect for letting your towels dry out over night & super warm after a nice shower. I really enjoyed my stay. Getting to the beach is a breeze & the cafe next door is BOMB DIGGITY! Legit across the street, affordable & delish! We left them an amazing review as well. Thank you again Kelly. Excellent location. Not super scenic but super functional. The site is very private but not secluded; you’ll have neighbors. People live nearby. However, it’s a great spot. Lots of amenities and mosquito control. Lots of birds to listen to in the morning. We walked, paddled, biked, ate and had good beer; all very close by. Would recommend.

Staying at Kelly’s “Hidden Gem” was amazing! Surrounded by trees and the sound of birds, the peaceful atmosphere was unexpected so close to EVERYTHING! Emerald Isle, Hammock Beach, restaurants, and a gorgeous trail connecting boardwalks across the marshland. This quiet spot has it all; friendly but not intrusive hosts, clean restroom, hot showers, fire element, cool beach theme, electric & water hookups, and location, location, location. I’m already planning another trip back this Summer.

We enjoyed the place so close to several public beaches and access points. The site was wonderful. Everything worked perfectly. We cut the turn a little tight and went into the ditch on the way in, but that was our fault and we made it out ok. Kyle even let us stay an extra day when we misread out itinerary.
We had a great vacation using this site as our home base.

Had a perfect weekend! Lucky’s was a great spot… private, relaxing, everything needed for full travel trailer hookup. Picnic table and large fire pit for a warm cozy fire at night. Will be back to explore more down east outer banks. Thank you Kyle… it was a treat!!

Lucky's Lookout is a very nice place to camp in Carteret County. It is affordable, quiet, secluded, and serene; and definitely a place we will stay again. Also, it has full hook-up for water, electric, and sewage; which is extremely rare in a private lot. We couldn't be happier with out stay!

This is in a great location. It's secluded and private. Site is clean and fairly easy to get in and out with our 28 foot rig. Since this area is prone to mosquitoes, lucky's is no exception. Don't forget your bug spray. I will definitely be back.
