We camped for one night on our drive north. It was a pretty spot by the pond. Bathhouse was a perk nice clean shower! We did not do the farm tour but I bet that would have been fun.

The site was beautiful! Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! I will definitely be coming back! They have a shop with meats from their farm and a nice toilet, sink, and shower. Very nice people!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a peaceful getaway! The petting zoo was out of this world, and I could tell how loved and cared for all their animals are. I can’t wait to come back and potentially stargaze! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet spot to relax and sit by the creek.

Cheryl so kindly agreed to host our homeschool co-op for a day camping experience. She consistently provided helpful suggestions and updates. The campsite was the perfect place for young kids, especially with access to the shallow creek. The farm tour was an amazing opportunity for the kids to learn about God’s creation in a hands-on way. We all truly enjoyed ourselves!

Every thing was great. You could see other camper’s but not to close at all. When the leaves get back on the trees I doubt you would even know someone else was there. Make sure you try some of there meats in the camp store !!

We booked Site 7, but a cancellation and recommendation from Cheryl had us staying in Site 10 instead. Both were excellent sites but 10 was the perfect distance from other campers to feel like you had the whole spot to yourself. It was a couple of us doing some motorcycle camping and The Oasis was only 2 hours from Raleigh and near many solid roads for riding and exploring. But with everything at the Farm, you really didn't need to leave! A secondary road/path to these sites allowed us to come and go on the bikes with much less concern for disturbing the animals. The folks were even nice enough to deliver our firewood to the site. Site 10 was right on the creek and just the right amount of sandy to feel like an oasis. If you stay (and you should), be sure to bring a cooler and grill to buy some of their meats to cook and take a tour to check the place out. The folks were super nice and the Farm was a great place to stay.

Beautiful piece of land, nice clear site. Big thanks to Scott for delivering a generous bucket of huge logs and being a very welcoming host. The brand new bath house was exceptional and a big incentive.

Had a great peaceful stay by the creek. So nice to have a camp spot that feels connected with nature and be able to take a HOT shower.

It's a beautiful farm, even in the winter! This camp spot is located in a perfect place not too far from things you might need. We will return in the spring for fishing and an open bathhouse.

There really isn't enough good things in my vocabulary to say about this beautiful spot!! Cheryl is always extremely accommodating and very easy going, she is also super quick to respond, and her farm is absolutely beautiful. This is one of those gems of hipcamp! Not only are the campsites themselves very nice but the location is perfect in my opinion. All of the animals are extremely well care for, and the meet and greet with the chickens upon arrival is always a treat! I highly recommend getting a dozen eggs because they are super quality, bright yellow yolks and absolutely delicious! 11/10 cannot recommend them enough!!

Our new BATHHOUSE is now completely functional with toilet, sink and SHOWER!! 🛖 It is centrally located in front of the office at the pond. WE LOVE OUR CAMPERS! ❤ Please respect our land by not bringing firewood from off-site and burning it here. We are a working farm that allows camping, not a campground. Our native trees and crops could easily be devastated by outside diseases or pests that are carried in firewood. We offer firewood for sale from our farm (delivered to your site for no additional fee). You do NOT have to purchase it prior to your arrival, just let us know how much you will need so we will have it ready for you. Our new CAMP STORE offers firewood (delivered to your site!) , meats and eggs from our farm, Tallow & lard (both rendered right here!), drinks, Amish made ice cream and jams/jellies/preserves, hammocks, hammock chairs, smoked dog bones, soaps (made right here), rentals of: cast iron cookware, a tent, Coleman stove, fishing poles, ... and MUCH MORE! Please note that all our sites are reserved with a one vehicle limit. Some sites are large enough to accommodate additional vehicles but each additional vehicle will incur a $10 per night charge. Free parking for additional vehicles is located at the office/store. Check us out for your next camping experience. We promise we will do everything within our power to make it great! Two new nicely wooded sites with pond view are now available to provide easy access even during periods of heavy rain. One is already set up with a new shade tent so you don't even have to bring your own! 🏕 Looking for a camping experience with a little luxury to boot? Look no further than our Oasis at Harmon Creek Farms! You can drive right up to most sites, weather permitting. You will have access to a fire ring and picnic table (located at each site), firewood for sale on site (please do not bring firewood from off-site), clean well water (located near the pond), the creek to explore, our stocked pond to fish, and wooded trails to hike. Once roamed by Native Americans and now farmed by the same family for over 6 generations, Harmon Creek Farm is a working farm of over 150+ acres. Peace, quiet, tranquility and privacy are overflowing along the creek, and hiking throughout the hills on the backside of the farm (and on the other side of the creek) leads to interesting and abundant flora and fauna. The stocked, spring fed pond is 'brimming" with angler challenges🎣 Our cows, pigs, sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, quail, and geese are all eager to meet you, as are we!
