An agrarian dream - a literal field of possibility. With 18 acres to choose from you may find yourself sleeping along the lazy Fifteenmile Creek, atop a hill under Virginia stars, or even set up with pastoral views of hens and Great Pyrenees dogs.
The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm.
One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching.
South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away.
Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus.
We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

This land was once owned by Noah Hays himself. He was the main farmer on this land along with other farming land on this road. Hints the name "Noah Hays Road". We stopped farming this land long ago but some of his relatives are still farming on the land he use to farm on. You will see one of his old plots still being farmed across the street from our property. There is still the old cabin he use to live in along with an old curing barn they use to hang the tobacco in after harvest. Super cute cabin! Had everything we needed for the weekend even a s’mores kit!! Host were extremely helpful when we got confused with the lock box. The view was great watching the sunrise with the fog over the trees, plenty of paths to walk if you don’t wanna go to the Stone Mountain trail. We wanted a quiet place to elope with some of our closest friends we got that and so much more. Check out was super easy would definitely recommend for a quiet romantic getaway or even a small family vacation! Pet friendly accommodations for the bestest of pets. I don’t know how much more I can recommend, if you’re on the fence take the leap you won’t regret it in the slightest. We looked a so many other options but ultimately kept coming back to this one every time and glad we did! Thank you so much to the amazing hosts for having us and allowing us to have this moment here it will never be forgotten

Weekend Trip to Gold River / camp + cabins
My first time at this camp site. I traveled on my motorcycle so having a tent ready to go helped me in not having to travel with a tent. The bed was very firm, which I liked and conveniently located near the bathrooms and shower.
If you want to have a fire, there is a pit there for you and you can also go over by the stream which was nice. The road is near and does get a bit of traffic surprisingly but it didn't affect me sleeping. The showers and bathrooms were nice, clean, and well kept. Will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area again!!!

Weekend Trip to Stormbrew Farm
The site was easy to get to, yet quiet and private, down the hill from the rest of the farm. We sat on the platform and watched the sun set, then fireflies, and then a clear starry sky. Horses peeked over the fence in the morning. And with all this, a morning run to get some coffee took just 15 minutes. We'll happily come back.

The cabin was great! It was the perfect size for the 5 of us. It was appointed perfectly for just about every activity. The cornhole boards had lights for night play, the smores tackle box was a major hit with the kids, several fishing poles and tackle just in case. Forget your sunscreen and bug repellent; they've got you covered. Is it hotter than the surface of the sun in July; the A/C can keep up with that. Some work to do on vacation; ACTUAL high speed internet to the rescue. Everything was clean and fresh, the grill had propane, was clean, and had its own shelter. The back porch had a wonderful view of the pond. At night we could listen to the frogs croaking at each other for hours. We had such a great time and had zero worries about anything (except about leaving too soon!). We seriously could have stayed another week.

I had a fantastic time at Dawn's yurt this weekend. The directions were clear, drive-in was nice, the property was open and peaceful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards. The yurt was super well stocked, even the restroom--which was way nicer than I was expecting for this little getaway! I had a great night sleep & recharge and watched the sun come up in the morning while the birds were singing. :) Thank you!!

We stayed for a weekend trip, and originally booked the bell tent. They were expecting some rough weather and upgraded us to the riverside cabin since they couldn't put the tents up. We loved the cabin and listening to the river while we slept. The room was cleaner than most hotels we've stayed in, and the bed was very comfortable. We definitely plan on making this a regular spot. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot.

My husband and I had an amazing time with our dog here! Dawn was an amazing host. The yurt had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Upaon arrival, the place was neat and clean. It was a nice sweet escape from the city! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to book again.
