Welcome to our land. Brooks Mullahy manages Sunswick Farm’s apiary, which includes 13 bee yards and over 200 hives. A bee yard is a collection of anywhere from 4 to 21 hives in one place, and our yards are located at the farm and on private properties throughout Cayuga, Cortland, and Onondaga Counties. We are busy with our bees and at the same time want to share the wonders of our farm with folks so we are very fortunate to have our neighbors Debbie Kahl and Tracy Yardley manage the HipCamp bookings on our behalf. Debbie and Tracy live very close and will be your contact persons. Either one will be happy to answer your questions and will meet you when you arrive and introduce you to the your camping site. Bailee is a phenomenal host. Her communication goes above and beyond. An absolute pleasure to work with. This was our fourth time at the site. We keep coming back for so many reasons - the privacy, the tranquility, the well manicured site, the large space, the proximity to everything, the awesome fire pit….. . It’s extremely difficult to find another Hipcamp that is comparable.

We loved this little cabin! All I wanted for my birthday was a couple days in the woods, and this place was exactly what I needed. You can hear the water from the stream as you fall asleep at night, and the cabin was nice and cozy during a rainy afternoon. This was the perfect place to unplug, sit by the fire, and recharge. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful private campsite with full hook ups. Camp host communicated very well and checked to confirm we got there and set up okay. We loved the area and enjoyed the vineyards, farms, and hiking in the area. We even did a hot air balloon ride in Ithaca. Very cool experience. We enjoyed the private and peaceful evenings at the campsite and by the fire.

This adorable cedar cabin was absolutely perfect. The woods are beautiful and the trails go on and on. The cabin is completely secluded (no view of any people, homes, etc) and with everything you need for a comfortable stay! The host even gave us a free little jar of fresh raw honey from the farm they'd harvested that week!

Weekend Trip to Sunswick Farm

I had the besssst time camping with my bestie on the Pear Grove Campsite at Sunswick Farms! It was so so soothing and quieeeeet and secluded and yet we felt so safe. You could see so many stars at night, and we really loved wandering the land. The birds in the morning! The trees and the stream! Just unreal. Brooks met us when we got in to give us a warm welcome and a little tour and was just so sweet and kind. Truly it felt like we stepped into some magical land. What a perfect getaway and retreat. Homey and cozy. One thing to note - There were a decent amount of bugs during peak bug hours , perhaps because of the wildflowers so just be aware of that! But even being someone who is personally quite sensitive to bugs and freaked out by them, it was still 100% worth it and I will most definitely be returning here! Perhaps next time in the cabin! Also, for fellow queers looking to camp here - I felt real safe :) If you’re reading this and considering camping here, do it!

Weekend Trip to Trees and Dreams

Staying here was such a great experience! The tent and surrounding property are stunning! A cart was provided to wheel out things to the tent. There was a composting toilet, fire pit and picnic table near the tent. It was so nice looking out at the pond and hearing the bull frogs. Away from it all yet about 10 mins into Naples. Plus, the bed was very comfy!
