We have mountain bike trails on the farm as well as a great swimming hole. Great campsite! Very spacious site with private latrine area. We stayed on a 30 degree F night and the woodstove (with wood included!) definitely took the chill off and make the cabin very cozy. The water wasn’t on at the campsite yet (early April) but water was available in the center of the campground. The cabin had 5 bunks/cots but we were able to move the cot and set up a double air mattress in the space. It was also easy and convenient to cook on the woodstove. Ranger Eric was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again next winter- it’s about a half hour beautiful drive from Jay Peak.

Ranger Eric’s place was great! He, himself was super responsive when we had questions ahead of our stay and during our stay. The place was exactly as we expected and we had a very enjoyable stay! We will definitely be back next year! Thank you Eric!

Weekend Trip to Rooted Acres Farm

We had such a lovely stay here! The host was incredibly responsive to all our questions, and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It came with a portable heater inside that kept us warm at night (just remember to turn on the gas outside first!). Without proper winter clothing, it might be a bit chilly to stay here during the colder months, but we went toward the end of October and it was still perfect! And the hot tub!! Such a clever and wonderful addition! Just a heads up: you’ll need to build a strong fire to get it hot within about 3 hours, and you’ll likely want to make two fires - one for the tub and another to sit back and enjoy. Be sure to bring lanterns, as it gets dark pretty quickly once the sun sets. Even though we had cloudy skies, we could tell that on a clear night the stargazing would be incredible. The cabin is well-equipped with dishes and running water for light cooking, brushing teeth, etc. There’s also a small convenience store about 8 minutes away on the main road. Overall, we would highly recommend this place. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

Weekend Trip to Brookview Cabin

This space was amazing! Ted was so attentive and communicative - gave us an extremely warm welcome. The cabin itself was perfect, couldn’t ask for more. The space heater kept us warm, the bed was comfy, the shower had warm water and the view was beautiful. We will be returning!

Perfect little cabin in the ADK’s that have all the necessities needed for a weekend away. Ted’s hospitality is superb and has great recommendations. Would certainly return!
