⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Family Cabin Getaway! We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin with our kids. The place was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature. We had so much fun together — hiking, playing games, and relaxing by the fire. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful family escape. We’d definitely come back again

Excellent stay! Beautiful spot, nice and quiet. We spent a decent amount of time just reading books with the windows open. Close to everything. Fire pit was nice, also had a charcoal grill you could use. Would love to stay again, highly recommend!

1 night at May Meadows Farm

I was in the Potsdam area for several days and found this gem on hipcamp. The site is at the corner of a huge hayfield. No other people in sight, although some deer did wander across the far edge of the field one evening. I went over and met the sheep and cows. That is definitely an add on to consider for this site. Coffee at Park Bagels in Canton is super convenient, and if you are in a rush, there is a Tim Horton's nearby.

Lovely clean and comfortable cabin, 15 min from Saranac Lake and 30 min from Lake Placid. Gracious and communicative hosts. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here and hope to return again next year. One note: The fridge is a large dorm-size fridge w/a tiny freezer section, so if you have ice packs you want to refreeze or keep frozen, you might want to grab a bag of ice to put in a cooler when you are near the cab

Friendly hosts. Very friendly dogs. Lovely spectacle of a parade of chickens joining in as the pigs got fed in the morning. Hosts greeted us, showed us around, and kept in touch but otherwise left us to enjoy ourselves.

The cabin was a nice experience, roomy, and had everything needed. The screened in porch was great, gave us some shelter from the critters and the firepit helped as well! Kitchen area is very usable, one hotplate was handy but if you plan to do significant cooking bring a stove. Fit 4 people between the full bed, the futon, and the included cot. Firewood and eggs were a nice touch!

Better Farm is a fantastically whimsical place with some of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. I tent camped here by myself for a night, and had access to any facilities I could have needed. I hope to come back with my family someday!
