We also have 3 adult Nigerian Dwarf goats, 4 baby goats, the sweetest miniature donkey you'll ever meet, named "Walther," and a shy mini horse named "Harry Houdini!" :) All of our animals have free-range of our property during the day, but are penned up at night to keep them safe. *** IMPORTANT TO NOTE: We strongly recommend bringing ear buds/plugs to block out the barking of our LGDs (livestock guardian dogs) through the night. They're just doing their job, but if you're not used to it, you may not sleep very well, so please bring ear buds or plugs! They absolutely love people, so they may get curious and try to come hang out with you in your tent! Because of this, we can provide you with a spray water bottle to keep them away from your tent. It's an unharmful way to keep them at bay, so please let us know if you'd like to have it on hand during your stay. Additionally, we strongly recommend bringing boots for walking around on the farm, as well as clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Especially in rainy weather, the grounds can get very muddy, and beware of animals who sometimes jump when greeting guests! Please do not hesitate to scold any of the animals should they jump on you! They are sometimes overly friendly and need to be reminded to mind their manners! *** Come pitch your tent (or rent one of ours, subject to availability!) on the grass or on the wooden deck near the edge of our pond, or walk our beautiful 19 grassy and wooded acres to find your favorite spot to set up camp. I highly recommend visiting Lisa and Ed, genuinely good people who take great care to ensure that you'll be comfortable and have what you need to optimize your stay. They are extremely knowledgeable about pretty much anything to do with farm living, and the horses receive amazing care.Lisa and Ed can't hide how much they love them. As far as which site to pick I walked the entire grounds and whichever site you choose is a winner, comes down to personal preference. There's no place else that can match this experience. Lisa and Ed are very responsive and have suggestions on local things to do .The reviews, all positive are a bit like pictures, they can't tell the whole story. Get here yourself and enjoy this peaceful, serene beautiful place and have this unique experience, you'll be glad you did. Don't forget all of the other things you can do to add to your experience that Lisa lists. This would be an unforgettable experience for a family with young kids. Bring a camera! Aside from the residents, the fields are visited by deer, and there are foxes, birds. There's a cabin, 2 trundle beds,folding room divider, windows all around, small sitting area with an awning in back looking into the forest .Lisa and Ed are kind, considerate and caring hosts. * Ask about buying some amazing Maple Syrup made using Ed's grandfather's recipe. You can't buy anything like it anywhere else! Thank you Lisa and Ed for your kindness and hospitality. Enjoyed my stay, hope to be back. Peace.

Barbara is a great host, friendly and chill. The land is beautiful and well kept, porta potty was clean. If there are other people camping at the other spots it is not private, can see other camp spots. The stars were AMAZING, so clear. Bugs weren’t bad. Would stay again!

Weekend Trip to Bison Island Ranch
Staying in the tipi was such a great experience. It is cozy inside and comfortable for two people in the bottom bunk! The tipi was pretty spacious and Susan provided some little goodies upon arrival. We were right on the pond that was lovely to swim in and jump off the dock. There was a fire pit to take advantage of and a grill too! The bison were on a different part of a farm, which was disappointing, but we still had some view of them. The stars were beautiful too! Overall it was a great stay with, hikes, farms and towns a drive away. As long as you have bug spray, we’d certainly recommend it.

Incredible place to stay! Wide open dark skies with lots of stars. The site is a great, clean, and safe place to stay. There is a clean Porta Potty and fire pit on site as well. Host is very responsive to texts. No fire wood on site, so make sure you pick some up on the way. We got ours from the gas station down the street.

Weekend Trip to Bramble Hill
We loved staying on the hilltop. We got there a little later, set up camp, cooked dinner over an open fire, and gazed at the stars for hours while dancing in the freshly mowed lawn and playing with our pup. It was so dreamy to fall asleep to the sounds of coyotes howling in the distance. The only thing to note is that the neighbors are actively farming so you might hear some tractor sounds and work happening in the morning. We’re both farmers ourselves so we didn’t mind! The camp spot is within a half hour drive of numerous waterfalls, lakes, and hikes. It’s a beautiful area!

Very serene and peaceful setting! We only stayed there overnight to sleep so wasn’t able to spend a lot of time there, but we enjoyed what little time we spent there. Would have loved to have spent more time there. Next time!

Beautiful and quiet hilltop sight with great views of the valley. Close to Cazenovia. It was raining so I was in and out but had a peaceful nights sleep.
