Stony Creek Farmstead

Stony Creek Farmstead is already home to a herd of Belted Galloway beef cows, a flock of Clun Forrest sheep, Tamworth pigs, hundreds of chickens, and a pair of dairy cows. We host farm stays in gorgeous platform tents equipped with everything including the kitchen sink! (beds for 6, a wood cookstove, flush toilet) The farm also offers private campsites in the hills and along the valley. Walk up the creek with your feet in it's cool water, take a hike to the pine forest, join the farm tour, make your own pizza in our wood fired brick oven on a Saturday night. You will have access to a beautiful outdoor shower house, our farm store brimming with meats, eggs, and organic veggies from the farm as well as local cheeses, yogurts, and other goodies. Come discover the Catskills!

he platform tents can sleep six people. There’s a room with a king-size bed, a cabinet bed for two, and another room with a bunk bed. We illuminated our room with the provided solar laterns as well as a set of string LEDs.

You won’t go hungry on your farm stay. The farm store stocks their own meat, eggs, and vegetables as well as other products such as pancake mix, syrup, yogurt, soup, dish soap, t-shirts, yarn, and more.

Beautiful secluded 29-acre property in rural New York.  This land had once been part of a large farm for a few hundred years and was subdivided in the early 1990..  Field by field it was let "go wild" and the forests and old fields are rich in stages of succession and biological diversity.   There are miles of maintained trails...and even more if you want to go on trails made by deer and rabbits.Learn more about this land:Put up a tent or sleep under the stars in an clearing in an old meadow, surrounded by forest.  Several trails lead to other places on the land.   Campsite is about a 4-5 minute walk from parking area.  Wagon available to haul your stuff back and forth.

Rockclimbers Paradise

This scenic land in  the historic Mohawk Valley was once home to the Dolgeville Branch Railroad which ran from Little Falls to Dolgeville and was a light-gauge rail line which ran its last ride in the 1960's and is also home to the only lake in the City of Little Falls, Green Lake which abounds with bullhead, small rockbass, turtles and wild fowl of all kinds.Learn more about this land:Camping with a mile-long nature trail that follows the course of the old Dolgeville/LIttle Falls Railroad Line. Parking available, firewood is on property for foraging and streams with cool water and a few waterfalls to soak under after a hot day.  Best rock-climbing from the Gunks to Albany with renowned climbs such as The Wind Wall and the Diehidrals, a sheer face with bolts and runs already set up by pros from our area. Bicycling and bushwacking road and trail. Historic rockcuts form the 1800's through beautiful wooded trail and an antique Rock-crusher with works of art inside. 

LoftBarn

The LoftBarn is part of a dairy farm that dates back to the 19th century.  When we bought the property in 1990, it was a garage for vintage cars.  Since we've owned it, it's been an antique shop, a performance space, a rental unit and now a airbandb. 
Learn more about this land:LoftBarn is a 19th century barn that has been set up as a living space.  It is about fifty feet from our home but is secluded by trees.  It sits on the bank of a year around stream and there is a bridge across the stream leading to a pond and open land.  LoftBarn will accommodate four people or five in a pinch.  LoftBarn has huge exposed beams downstairs and a forty foot long loft upstairs.  It is both rustic and chic.  There is a complete bathroom and kitchen with amenities.  The decor is funky mid century and comfortable.  There is a new king sized Ikea bed upstairs and a queen sized  high density foam bed downstairs.  The vibe is relaxed and not precious.
