If you ever experienced, as a kid, going to the country to visit grandparents/aunt or uncles - this is an adventure just like that with dirt (mud puddles and all) driveway (approx. 1100 ft. long). This is a private property of 10 acres of lightly wooded, sloping areas with a pond and a private residence of 2300 sq. ft. which have guest rooms available as a BnB - Book rooms on AirBnB or Booking.com. It is NOT a manicured estate but rather land with mowed rustic trails with a old pond with water critters, bullfrogs, fishes, water spiders, tiny snails. There is an occasional Blue Herring, Wood Ducks and Canadian Geese that stop by as well as other wildlife.

Welcome, Mission Conesus, originally built by Franciscan Catholics. These lands were likely chosen for many reasons. Suffice it to say there is something special here. Come discover for yourself. Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species. Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted. We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven. See the provided map for site locations. Site 1 is open field and is near the pavilion, sites 2 and 3 are along the woods, and site 4 is the most private and tucked into the woods. We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. There is an Eagle's Nest about 2 miles North on Route 245, pass Coward Rd., watch across valley in a big dead tree about 400 yards away. When you see the nest, you'll know it. I've seen an Eagle perching on the tree. Here, you're within driving and biking distance to the Town of Naples, NY (Grimes Glen Park), and Canandaigua Lake, and all of the beauty and culture of the Finger Lakes Region is at your doorstep: vineyards and wine tours, water fun on the lake... and so much more. Within an hours drive you can bike, hike, camp fish, boat or swim in 7 of the 11 FINGER LAKES (Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, Honeoye, Canandaigua, Keuka, and Seneca. Keep truckin' and hit Cayuga, Owasco, Skaneateles and Otisco. (or 90 minutes until you reach the 11th FINGER LAKE, Otisco) The camp has come along way since it was established (June 2017) when our Scout Camper came to stay***, with "Base Camp" site maturing with level tent sites, fire pits, benches, tables, port-a-potty. "Hawks Landing" site (1/2 way up the hill) making progress as well, not so much road noise up here. "Eagles Nest"; all the way up is the most private deep in the woods, 1000 feet back!   • Site#4 "Creek View". Need to hike up the mountain by Hawk's Landing are go South about 150 yards. Nice, private well away from the road. Nice spot for 2-3 tents. Next to seasonal water flow creek. Bridge is kind of fun

We absolutely loved staying here! We are full-time trailer-towers and have a sweet older pup. Although we booked stays at Treman as with previous years, this time required four moves in two weeks, so I looked for alternatives. Summer Dream popped up only 15 minutes from my Dad's house near the Commons. PERFECT! Tina is a lovely host - from the first conversation to our goodbyes, she made sure we were comfortable and then some. The area where our trailer sat was level, drop and go. You do need to be right next to her trailer though, as the hookups are in an enclosed box behind her trailer. The land was treed and mowed, with a cute picnic table, a fire pit, and wood available. The best part was the quiet, as cars were not frequent and nobody walks by. We were able to walk a few miles daily with no issues which was wonderful for the dog. I'm already looking forward to next year, so better beat me to it! :)

I arrived late, but Matt and Sheryl were so welcoming and helpful, I felt comfortable right away. Very easy to communicate with. Nice, private, flat place for a little car camping overnight. Just right.

This is my second time here visiting upstate NY! Poohs Korner is my favorite place to camp. Not only do I feel safe, but I love the fact that it’s still camping, and the amenities are close by! The compost toilet is genius, & Mike and Sheryl are so sweet! Minutes from downtown. If I ever come back to Watkins Glen. I will always book with Pooh’s Korner.

Perfect for our one night stay on a long road trip! Very close to Watkins Glen, amenities were exactly what we needed, campsite was pretty private, host were very nice! We did have a campsite cat that was overly invested in our cooking but too cute to be mad at. We would definitely come back!

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend camping at Pooh's Corner! The campground is incredibly peaceful and private - exactly what we were looking for. Each site feels tucked away, surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Quiet, untouched, and full of peace. Our small dog, Luna, enjoyed the trails that are available. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the owners (Matt & Cheryl) really care about keeping it that way. We loved sitting by the campfire at night, listening to the quiet, starlit nights and waking up to birds and sunshine in the morning. It was the perfect escape from the noise and rush of everyday life. It was a breath of stillness. Location is ideal as it is close to Watkin's Glen and numerous wineries on Seneca Lake. Matt and Sheryl were lovely. We didn't get in until after dark but they met us when we arrived and since no one else was expected while we were there they let us choose a site closer to the bathrooms. They gave us a tour even in the dark! Everything was cute and clean. They even have hot water.

The location was perfect! We were just a short drive from Watkins Glen, Buttermilk Falls, and Taughannock. The site itself was spacious, with full hookups and plenty of room for our two doodles to play. Tina was a wonderful host—attentive and friendly, checking in each day without ever being intrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely camp here again!
