We have gorgeous green scenery with amazing sunrises and sunsets. We are located perfectly between the Thousand Islands and the  Adirondacks oswegatchie River flows into the st. Lawrence Seaway Valley basin. We Do seasonal activities such as spring planting gardening with activities for families children possibly have the opportunity to be their own Johnny or maybe plant a pumpkin seed in the spring and come back and pick it in the fall. We have a local Winery we are located near several harbors state land and a state park within walking or biking distance. We have several areas where you can access the water boat launches.

Waterfall Cottage at Woodhenge

The Waterfall Cottage is located near the back of Woodhenge Sustainable Community.   It is off grid,  solar powered with composting toilets.  One inside, and one in an outhouse.   The cottage overlooks a stream with a bridge and waterfall just downstream.   Walking trails  lead to an old orchard and hardwood forest and there is a bench swing overlooking the waterfall.  By the time the waterfall dries up sometime in July,  we will have fresh vegetables in our gardens.   We are about 9 miles from Sacketts Harbor on Lake Ontario,  where you will find all sorts of swimming, fishing  and water sports.

Phantom island

This location can only be accessed by your own personal boat! There is no car access and no car parking.

Boats can be rented from Ivy Lea Marina and Rockport Ontario Marina. Boats should be less than 20 feet.

 2 day minimum rentals.

Your own Canadian private island in a calm cove in the international rift feet away from Canada to the north and the U.S. to the south in the great St Lawrence Seaway. To the left the international thousand island bridge and to the right incredible views of the international rift. With geese and swans flying in enjoy a great camping experience.
