We use this as a ski house in the winter (usually only on weekends). It’s just 45 minutes from the ski valley.

We attended Auburn University and the Auburn battle cry is “ War Eagle!” When I saw this Colorado property on War Eagle Trail, I bought it immediately. Weekend Trip to Creekside Glamping Tipis on Off-Grid, 70 Acre Working Ranch
Traveling cross country for 3 weeks, I have stayed at a few places and this is one of my favorites! The location is beyond beautiful. Creekside with foot bridges, tipi had everything I needed and MORE! The cows and horses were fun to watch and the hammock next to my tipi beside the creek was so relaxing. I could actually see the Milky Way. Lastly the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Bringing me extra firewood for the awesome stone fire pit I forgot to mention that has beautiful wooden rocking chairs. It’s beyond amazing and unbelievably priced.

I love this land in the Tusas Valley - the sounds of elks bugling, coyotes calling, and the Rio Tusas running nearby...
Deborah is such a personable and attentive host but never intrusive. The restaurant her family owns over in Tres Piedras is a treasure too. I have stayed in both the yurt and tipis, and they are clean and fitted out with everything you need. Me and my dog were happy to return

Such a beautiful place. The views are in incredible. We could see the Milky Way and shooting stars at night by the campfire. Listening to the creek and watching the cows and horses was so relaxing. The campsite was well provisioned and comfortable. When Deb said all you need to bring is yourselves and your food she wasn’t kidding. Wonderful, friendly hosts! The nights were cool but we were warm enough with the campstove and covers provided. After a drive one day we ordered carry out from the Chili Line Depot which was so good we stopped in again for breakfast the day we left. Chili Line had helpful friendly staff, too. We hope to visit this amazing ‘Glamp’ site again in the spring.

Really fun weekend staying at this tipi! Our super nice hosts were very friendly and the tipi was very nice. We took our bikes and road some forest roads nearby and spent time just hanging out by the creek. It was a great upgrade from car camping and we'd love to come back!

Debbie’s ranch is in a great location and very peaceful. It is super dog friendly and Debbie is super helpful and welcoming!

Group trip
It was so much fun! Deborah is a really cool lady, she was awesome to talk to and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and informed us about fun things to do nearby. The yurt we stayed in was very cute, had lots of blankets and pillows, a mini fridge with a little freezer compartment for icetrays and popsicles and a bigger fridge as well. The propane stove was also really convenient when we didn't feel like grilling outside. I woke up and enjoyed my morning coffee in the hammocks they provided while watching the horses and cows roaming the pasture right outside of the yurt! I would also highly recommend walking to the pond in the evenings to watch the sunset in the canoe, absolute magic. 10/10 would stay here again!

Beautiful place and very kind hosts! Our family and dog had a magical time. The stars at night were spectacular. Our kids loved seeing the animals and fishing.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Glamping Tipis on Off-Grid, 70 Acre Working Ranch
My daughter and I had a very good experience sleeping in the Teepee. We had no problem locating the property even after dark. The views were beautiful.

The off leash setting was beautiful and the accommodations were impressively maintained; our dogs played on the grass meadow and in the creek all afternoon! A+ dog adventure!!
